About the product:The Sukin Coffee & Coconut Exfoliating Mask comes in a 100ml brown plastic pot with a brown screw top lid. The consistency of the mask is quite creamy and full of coffee grounds and coconut shell for exfoliating. The colour of the mask is a light browny colour, the scent smells predominately of coffee. It is easy to apply, does not dry at all throughout the duration of wear and is very easy to rinse off with just warm water. About the size of a 20c coin was plenty for a full face application. The coffee grounds and coconut shell give a decent exfoliation without feeling at all rough, scratchy, harsh or abrasive. I actually found this to be quite moisturising whilst on the skin, which I wasn't expecting at all. It feels very soothing and hydrating on the skin after applying. The coffee scent is very nice, quite stimulating. I applied the mask after cleansing and left on for 10-15 minutes (it will not dry out at all during this time, the mask stays 'wet' throughout the entire duration) before lightly massaging the face for a minute or so and rinsing off with warm water. The mask is very easy to remove with just warm water, it can get a little messy due to all the ground coffee so best done in the shower. After removal of the mask my skin felt so soft and actually quite moisturised, skin tone looks more even and skincare products seem to absorb better. The final verdict:I really like this mask, I wasn't expecting it to be as hydrating as it is, that was a very pleasant surprise!A definite must have for coffee lovers and ladies looking for a gentle exfoliant that won't irritate the skin.

I bought this for the delicious coconut and coffee smell. I have oily combination akin and usually avoid physical exfoliants like this one, but one of the ladies at work raved about this so pf course I had to try it. The granules of coffee oand coconut are ground quite fine and don't scratch at all on the skin. I found the mask really creamy and thick, making it feel quite lux and soothing. I was careful not to press or rub it in though, on applying or rinsing. After 15 minutes, my skin felt so soft and looked glowing. It left my skin with the right amount of moisture. I really like this mask. I use it once a fortnight and it's very easy to use and smells way too good.

My skin type: oily/combination, acne-prone. I'm a big fan of Sukin face masks, so I was keen to try this when it was released. It is packaged in the same tub design that other Sukin masks come in. The consistency is not as thick as a clay mask, and it's easy to apply. It has large granules which I assume is the ground coffee/coconut. This mask does not dry out like a clay mask - which makes it less drying for the skin, and easier to wash off. As you wash it off, massage your skin to feel the exfoliating grainy texture of the mask. The smell is fantastic - exactly like coffee and coconut. After using this mask, my skin feels smoother, and it still feels smooth the next day. My enlarged pores on my nose look cleaner. I was very excited to try this product for two reasons: 1) because the coffee and coconut scent sounded divine; and 2) because I liked the sound of being able to save time in my skin-care routine since this product acts as both a face mask and an exfoliant. The product comes in a small recyclable pot and has a thick, creamy texture. As with all skin-care products which come in a jar, it is essential to have clean hands before dipping into the product to prevent contamination. The mask has a very pleasant scent (I can smell both the coffee and the coconut) and the texture spreads really nicely and evenly onto the skin. Since it is not a clay mask, it does not dry down or harden but instead stays fairly creamy. I am giving this product three stars simply because I didn't notice any changes or benefit to my skin, even after using this product for a while. That being said, it is a really nice experience as a little self-pamper session!

I am a big fan of the Sukin brand and specifically the masks. It is packaged in the same tub design that other Sukin masks come in. The lid is easy to screw on and off. It is not too thick for a clay mask and easy to apply, I applied it on my face, using my fingers. It smells so good; I love the coffee and coconut fragrances. I left it for about 10-15 mins and then rinsed it off. It is easy to rinse off. As you wash it off, massage your skin to feel the exfoliating grainy texture of the mask. After using this mask, my skin feels smoother and hydrated. I would recommend this product and plan to repurchase it. It is good value for money as well. Perfect to get your spring skin back after the harsh winter months.

This product is very gentle on the skin. I love the smell of it smells very fresh. You can feel the small beads sinking into the skin and after sitting for 20 minutes I will use an exfoliating brush in circular motions to work it into the skin before washing it off. After washing it off my skin feels so smooth and post shower I will moisturise and my skin will feel so fresh and amazing. I also love the packing super easy to use and the sizing is good as it will last for such a long time as only a small amount is needed each time.

This mask, which I bought in the November 2018 Rewards Room is one of Sukin's newest products. I've tried a few Sukin items and have always been happy with them and this is no exception. The company launched in Melbourne in 2007 and all its products are Australian made with ingredients that are naturally derived, cruelty free and vegan. All formulations are 100% carbon neutral, biodegradable and grey water safe. This information is from their website. The coffee and coconut mask (or masque, I guess they think it sounds more posh!) comes in a 100ml brown plastic pot which is recyclable (or reusable which is even greener). The coffee and coconut mask (or masque, I guess they think it sounds more posh!) comes in a 100ml brown plastic pot which is recyclable (or reusable which is even greener). I think there was a plastic film seal over the top of the product. When you open the pot you get a beautiful smell of coconut and coffee (smells good enough to eat but I wouldn't advise it!) and see a pale brown (latte colour) cream with coffee granules and coconut shell powder suspended through it. You apply it to damp skin using your fingers or a brush, both work equally well, then relax for 15 minutes. You then add a little more water and rub gently to exfoliate then rinse off with water. I used this while in the bath and one slight problem I had was that the heat from the bath (and it was a hot day) caused me to sweat and the mask ran into my eyes and made them sting - this is an issue with the way I used it, not the mask itself. The mask doesn't dry on your skin so I experienced no tightness or tingling. After use my skin felt clean and glowing, I wouldn't use it just before an event as it left me a little too glowing although again this could just because I was warm from a bath. This is the first time (I think) I've put coffee on my face rather than in it or on my body and I'm really happy that I have. Once my stash of masks is used up (and that may be a while) this will definitely be high on my repurchase list.

I ordered this in the latest RR and I am a big fan of the Sukin facial exfoliating scrubs so was looking forward to this. I have never had an issue with the scrubs so my expectations for this mask were high. The amount you get is fairly generous and the tub is of course a convenient way of packaging for this type of mask. The smell is absolutely marvellous! Unfortunately though, my skin didn't like this. I'm very cautious with exfoliating products and so when it came to rinsing this off, I avoided scrubbing at all the first time around and just did what was necessary to get it off. Even without scrubbing, the area on both sides of my nose were very irritated with small red bumps. I gave this mask a few chances and the results were always the same unfortunately. My skin is slightly sensitive but I think the granules were just too large and abrasive (significantly more so than the exfoliating scrubs). Also, it is quite a pain to rinse off. The granules wash away easily but there is a lot of slimy residue that takes much more effort to get off. Other than some exfoliation, I didn't notice any other benefits. I'm sure this might be a decent product for some but unfortunately it just isn't for me.
