Nice scent and does have a discrete shimmer to skin. Not over powering, that you will glitter abs flow but a nice shimmer. I applied to damp, post showered skin only, as quite oily. Would not recommend using on dry skin because it’s so oily. Does absorb pretty well on damp skin. Have to wash hands throughly to remove greasy feel. However, it does not have hydrating staying power. In fact I found all it did was clog my pores and give me a subtle rash. No body oil has ever done that. Pricey for what it left me. Had it done wonders I would not have complained. Bought a drugstore body oil instead and it’s way more effective. Although without the pretty shimmer.

I recently went on holiday and was drawn to this product as I wanted a bit of a shimmer while sitting by the pool. This product did not disappoint. I actually used this more in the evening on my arms and legs and the shimmer was subtle but it caught in the right lighting. Smell was not too overpowering while on. Huge bottle. Only prob is it is quite heavy to travel with.

Good nourishing oil

This body oil is quite nice, it sinks into the skin quickly and dries nicely. It does have a really nice scent, smells like vanilla and coconut. I am pretty sensitive to scents and this one does not bother me. The smell does last throughout the day. The body oil makes my skin feel nice and soft and nourished. However, the reason why I gave it 4 stars not 5 is due to the lack of glow. The oil doesn't really give my skin a glow, it just has some fine pieces of glitter that are deposited on the skin and it somehow dissipates throughout the day. I had high hopes for the glow aspect of this product but it didn't really deliver. I think overall its just a nice hydrating oil that gives a little bit of shimmer but nothing super glowy.

Not worth the sale price.

Don’t bother. I purchased this oil because it was less expensive than the Sol de Janeiro body oil and it fell very short of expectations. It feels and smells like the MCT coconut oil you get from the health food store. The glitter is scratchy and not luminous. All things I could overlook if they t actually did what it’s supposed to. This oil does not moisturize at all. I use immediately after a shower while my skin is wet to lock in moisture. This oil stays on top of the skin, doesn’t absorb like other oils and then gets all over clothes. A couple of hours later I can feel my skin tight and dry.Pass on this one.

Very summery

This is a beautiful light oil that soaks in nicely and doesn’t leave me feeling too tacky. It leaves my skin feeling moisturizer and with a healthy non disco ball sheen. It does have visible glitter in it. I can see the particles on my skin. But they are quite small compared to other similar products I have used. More of a glimmer than full on shiny chunks.The only thing I’m on the fence about is the smell. I love vanilla scented products. Unfortunately this is more of a synthetic play dough vanilla scent. So while I don’t hate it, it smells like a cheap drugstore product to me.

Super awesome for summer or even just a fancy night out. Looks gorgeous on the skin but isn’t too over the top (it’s not bronzing just shimmer). A nice pretty glow. I love that it’s not just glowy but also hydrating while you have it on. The ingredients make it even better containing macadamia apricot sunflower oil. I also think the amount of product you get is pretty generous. Such a beautiful glow and the scent is lovely! I’ll definitely be using it all summer and for nights out to come. dreamy body oil

Think of this as your grown up Hawaiian Tropic SPF 0 tanning oil. It smells better, makes you shimmer and glow, is a dry oil (not greasy, not sticky), and does not make a mess all over the cap and bottle. The dropper mechanism is amazing - dispenses a drop of oil with every shake and does not spill everywhere. It does not contain SPF, but honestly I love wearing it on nights out on my shoulders and decollétage when I don't need sun protection. It also layers well with sunscreen and actually helps mask some of the sunscreen scent with its own vanilla coconut scent! The scent does well on its own or matches closely with the SF perfume oil "coconut wave."
