After reading the features of this oven, I was sold straight away by the roast feature and could not believe the price. I cooked my first 1.5kg leg of lamb roast in it to no disappointment at all. There was no difference to cooking my roast like I used to in a wall oven and the meat was just just as tasty, flavoursome and so tender. It is the best decision I have made regarding kitchen appliances.Well worth it and great value for money !

Just unpacked it today. Made a packet cake and it turned out great. Sunbeam does did not include the specifications on website. Enquired through online enquiry. They got back to me and told me they would get back to me, still waiting. Specs not on company I bought it from so depended on another supplier and it fits whew. The colour is a very drab dull grey. Not stainless steel. Handle too big. Impedes removal of tray if opens onto a bench. Only one rack is mentioned but there were two.

We needed something urgent temporarily while we wait 6 weeks for a technician to fix our big oven. It has been an absolute god-send. It has really helped, I even attempted baking a cake and some sour dough rolls and was pleasantly surprised! Would highly recommend 100%

Recently purchased this oven and so far exceeds my expectations, have cooked from frozen, baked veges and open grilled sandwiches, all perfect. Much quicker than normal oven, takes less time to heat up, so should be quite energy efficient. Very happy with my purchase so far, will try baking a cake soon, would recommend.
I needed a quick replacement because I finally destroyed my normal massive oven and cooktop. This little sunbeam fits great on the benchtop and cooks small things perfectly, it's also my now my go to toaster, as for doing a whole chook or a leg of lamb, I don't know yet, haven't tried it. and you can't always trust advertisement pictures. Everything else...perfect.
I am fairly happy with this toaster oven. So far I have used it for baking vegetables and making grilled cheese on toast and it was great for these two applications. Last night however, I tried to use it to grill meat by putting the meat in the baking tray lined with foil, close to the top element. This didn't work very well. It wasn't hot enough so the meat stewed rather than browned. I will probably try again by putting the meat on a rack on top of the baking tray but the oven doesn't come with a rack that fits the baking tray so I will have to try rigging something up.
Great little oven and griller when you want to make simple things like grilled cheese on toast. I have made bread rolls and have cooked frozen pub fries which it did better than my big oven. Haven't tried a chicken or anything likely to make it greasy but it looks easy to clean So far, so good. Fast to heat up and therefore more economical than heating a large oven. Can't fault it so far.
We bought this to replace the Sunbeam 19L compact oven which was fantastic and had lasted 4 years despite only costing $99. We wanted to get another 19L oven but they have been discontinued. This is a serviceable little oven which works fine but it is inferior - the internal space is more cramped and less usable, and the trays are dinky aluminium not durable enamelled steel as with the old 19L. Would be willing to pay more for the old model if Sunbeam brought it back.
Previous one, Sunbeam BT5350 was bit bigger, had better grill pan design & no lip on pizza tray worked really well until burnt out.This one is smaller, poor/no grill tray design, lip on pizza tray! How can you cut with lip in way Making do for grilling. Couldn't fit larger one in space available. Why is handle so big & uglyTell designers to talk to people who cook to improve design. Dont just change design/size for fun!
The baking option is excellent. The grill is good, yet I have to admit it's takes a little while to melt and brown cheese. However it's not a big issue...just a little annoying. I will repeat that I love the appliance it looks great in the kitchen and I am glad I made this purchase. Also, the price with 3 year warranty was great. Take the extended warranty.
