I am very satisfied with this Alinea 4 slice Toaster. It toasts very well our sourdough bread, crumpets, English muffins, thick sliced fruit bread, and halved scones, etc. Great to toast 4 slices at once with this toaster. Easy to clean pull out trays and the outer surface also. It looks very stylish in Ocean Mist White alongside other White appliances. High quality brand, efficient and performs without a problem. I rate this Toaster a 10 score out of 10!

This toaster looks nice and sleek, and has wide slots for bread/other items which I like. It's also packaged in sustainable/recyclable materials which is a nice surprise as often these types of items come with polystyrene and soft plastic. My gripes are that the highest setting is only just high enough to barely toast the bread. I can't imagine when you would ever use the lower settings as they would barely even heat the bread up. Also, the toaster isn't deep enough to cover a slice of bread that's anything longer than your standard, supermarket square loaf. The product is fine and works ok, but I wouldn't recommend it over other models.

I’m not sure what to make of any new toaster I buy. I seem to have to turn them up to the highest setting for them to have them done to a medium browning. Also they never seem to cook evenly and the bread must be bigger these days as it’s always hanging out the top. Maybe I’m just a fussy toaster. At least I’ve kept this one as it has a lift function to check the ‘doneness’ and it’s kinda pretty.

I used the toaster 3 times. The first couple of times I thought it was odd it would only toast frozen bread if on maximum. The third time I did not even warm the bread.......but don't worry.....when I contacted Sunbeam to tell them they were kind enough to respond by sending me an instruction on how to use a toaster. Beyond time wasting and patronising, that summarises how Sunbeam resolves their manufacturing defects. Good news is that The Good Guys could not have been more helpful and resolved it immediately. Thanks Good Guys.
I've had this toaster for a few months and it looks great, but it leaves a lot to be desired. I would not purchase it again. I have two main complaints. The lack of any real extraction movement on the lifting portion of the slice holders means I am constantly burning my finger tips on hot crust trying to lift out the bread or I am using a fork or knife to stab the bread to get it out (not safe, do not try at home). Secondly, to toast bread nicely I have to almost turn the dial to the maximum which means the bread is in the toaster much longer. I am assuming the heating elements are not very strong or efficient as I will sometimes have to toast it twice on a shorter cycle the second time to get it golden brown. I ordered this item online and wish i had gone in store to see the size of it before ordering. I was expecting a larger-than-normal toaster however this toaster is quite bulky.I like that each half is controlled separately meaning i can toast at different temperatures. Overall the toaster works fine, looks modern and has all the basic settings needed.
This is a wonderful toaster and looks so lovely in the kitchen. Being a 4 slice, it can toast enough for a family of 4, or a family of 2 all at once- I love it!!The Matte black would suit any kitchen design and I find the functions so useful.I love the defrost function and the ability to check how your bread is toasting without having to stop the toasting cycle... very convenient!Found it toasting much faster than my previous toaster and toasted evenly.It really is so nice to look at, I'm so happy with this!!We used it every day and have been happy each and every time.. Highly recommended and also matches well with the Alinea kettle.Well done Sunbeam, on yet another fabulous appliance!
I bought this product to match my kettle, both of them had shocking paint work! This toaster has shed its paint and looks a mess, I really look after my appliance too! I complained to Sunbeam about both products I bought at the same time and they were not at all interested as were just out of warranty, I will never buy Sunbeam again, I would rather buy from the Warehouse as at least they last!!Also the toast has never toasted evenly one side dark the other light.....I do not reccomend!
Looks good but does not toast effectively. Limited bread size fits in which means double toasting. You have to have the toasting level up to the highest to get crunchy toast. The highlift does not lift high enough for small pieces of toast, and we had to remove half the toaster to recover a piece of bread that had broken off but was trapped between the crumb tray and where the toast sits! I spent a bit more on this product to ensure a good purchase and I have just bought a new one as this one does not make my morning routine easy! Would not recommend
Shopping with Appliances on-line was easy, pricing competitive and could arrange Saturday delivery. Very happy with this toaster. Toasts all 4 slices evenly. Also has independent control for two slices. Love the look of the black and chrome. Only negative is finger prints leave marks on the chrome. Would still recommend this toaster.
