Both work well when in use, however quality is basic and toaster is a little short on height so top 1-2cm of bread doesn't toast unless you flip it half way through. Not sure how long it will last, as initially the cancel button was stuck on so each time I would press the toast down, it would immediately cancel and pop up. Took a couple of days trying before I managed to get the button to turn off... and I tried everything! I live in a country town and could not return easily, so persevered. All in all, good for the price, but I would probably advise buying something a little better quality - I purchased online so did not physically see before buying!

Jug is quiet simple elegant. Toaster is not hot enough on highest setting, so need to toast a second time for dark/heavier breads. It's fine if you like a lighter end result on single use. Crumpet feature nice!!! (also double for me ).
I cannot fault the toaster, it does everything that a toaster shd do and has a pop up rack to heat up buns, pastries, e.t.c. The kettle on the hand, has some niggles. For starters, you can pour water out of it too quicky, or it will spill out the top. Water flow is limited by the spout which has a pre drilled metal 'mesh'. When pouring water out, the filler lid needs to be kept closed too otherwise you can expect to get burnt by steam..even with the lid closed, you can sometimes feel steam hitting it, and issue which i didnt have with my previous contempo kettle.
Makes my little kitchen look stylish. Note that the white is a lightweight pearlescent plastic, not metal. But still good value in my opinion. Toaster and kettle function well - kettle is very quiet.
Toaster works well. Has reheat,defrost and cancel. Can fit thicker items. Kettle has comfortable handle and push button to open lid for easy filling. Boils well. I recommend this combo and they look good on the bench as well which is a bonus and not expensive.
The toaster had a smell of burning plastic and a lot of smoke. I rang Sunbeam and they told me to ring back in a week if it still was happening but within the week it wouldnt work at all. The Good Guys were very helpful and exchanged the two items for a Russell Hobbs Kettle which we are happy with. I recommend The Good Guys
I bought this pack 5 years ago. Both the kettle & the toaster are still going strong with daily use by a family of 4. A few minor rust stains are just starting to appear. Good quality & value. I kind of want to upgrade just for something with more pizzazz but my husband won’t let me.
I bought Sunbeam package as I owned a toaster for over 30 years. But this Chinese made product did not cook toast evenly eg, cooked top of slice and not the bottom, cooked one side and not the other, this happened on both sides of the toaster. Could not adjust cooking time, was either warm bread or burnt toast. Toast rack stopped working in 1st week of use. Returned to Good Guys who replaced product but replacement toaster has similar cooking issues with slightly better hat control. I don't know why businesses even stock this rubbish. Oh but the kettle does boil water.
