Nothing better than baking on a rainy afternoon!I was even more excited to test out the new Sunbeam MixMaster Heat Soft Hand MixerThis isn’t yet standard electric mixer. Very happy with my new mixer. The heatsoft function works well and is easy to use.The slowest speed is a little faster than I would have liked, but flour doesn't spray everywhere like my last beater did, so it's still a win.It is a heavier and larger beater than others I have used, but it feels sturdy and well made. Good value for the price range and recommend.

After much research on features and reviews I finally settled on a hand mixer. The original one I wanted was another brand at a slightly heftier price (from another online store that I was unfamiliar with) and offered more speed over the Heatsoft function of the Sunbeam. I decided on my second choice which was the Sunbeam JM7000 Mixmaster with Heatsoft technology (a great feature since I prefer spontaneous cooking - no more waiting for the butter to get to room temperature!) and was from Appliances Online (an online store I was familiar with, and at a great price). I am extremely happy with this product. I use the Hand Mixer a lot so it was very important that it did what I wanted. The item is heavier and slightly bulkier than my last mixer however it stores easier due to a compartment it sits in that holds all the attachments. I have it compactly stored in a deep kitchen drawer that I can access with ease. While the comparative heaviness and slightly longer length in the beaters was noted when changing from a previous basic model to this more impressive one I haven't noticed the differences since it's initial use. In fact it feels and performs like the quality item I expected from a product in this price range.

This is a great beater I normally use my large benchtop Mixer but there are times when it is just too large. This is a great addition to my kitchen it has 7 speed settings and comes with a handy storage case. But what makes it a must have, is the unique heat-soft function that softens cold butter from the fridge in about 2 minutes. I’ve since not had to worry about forgetting to take out the butter hours before needing to use it.
I love baking and would bake once or twice a week. I bought this to replace a very old mixer. I personally have not had to use the HeatSoft feature, as I normally use grapeseed oil - instead of butter - for my cakes. However, my daughters love the feature as it lets them make cookies anytime they want to, scraping the wait time for the butter to soften. I love everything else about the mixer. The attachments, the storage, the cord tie, the magnetic nozzle, the speed levels, and the design aesthetics. I can say that a lot of thoughts, care and passion were put into designing and making this product. Very happy with the my new mixer ^_^
A fantastic mixer! Honestly, I thought the heat soft function was overkill, but it’s actually brilliant! It helps dissolve sugar in meringue, and gets butter softened in seconds. So far I’ve made salted caramel, meringue, buttercream, melting moments, choc chip cookies, shortcrust pastry & gingerbread with amazing results. I love this mixer and am very happy with my purchase. Be warned though, she’s a tad loud
Each lockdown triggers a cooking frenzy and this time I've turned to baking cakes the way my Mum did. You know - back before they invented pre-packaged cake mixes. Although I wanted something black to match my other appliances, I found myself drawn to the Sunbeam Mixmaster HeatSoft Hand Mixer (JM7000).At $82, it’s middle of the road in price but the rose-gold magnetic nozzle got my attention. Who would have thought it possible to make a mixmaster look sexy? Well, I must hand it to Sunbeam, because they have. Not only that, it also has 7 speed settings and comes with a handy storage case. But what makes it a must have, is the unique heatsoft function that softens cold butter from the fridge in about 2 minutes. I’ve since been making buttercream icing like there’s no tomorrow. The only drawback for a messy cook like me is cleaning the thing. The accessories are easy, but the speed control grooves are another thing. That issue aside, I would not be without it.
Unfortunately haven't been able to use it yet as I had to pack it and move (again). This is replacing my Kitchenaid stand mixer lost in the floods. I chose it because of the price, features and feel in the hand. As long as it turns on I'm not expecting problems - it's a good brand and other reviewers were happy. Will update (if I can) when I'm able to use it properly.
I am thrilled that someone has invented a gadget that allows you to mix up a cake batter with butter straight out of the fridge. The Sunbeam Heat Soft Hand Mixer does just that, allowing you to cream the butter in no time at all. It took 2 minutes to cream a 250g block of butter with ease, resulting in a light, fluffy cake. The 170 watt heater is intended to be used for 1-2 minutes and has a safety feature of a cut-off switch if left on for over 5 minutes. The unit also has a light to indicate that the heat function is on, but this was hard to read due to the small indicator knob. The 270 watt motor is more powerful than my old Sunbeam mixer but is also a fair bit heavier, weighing approx 1.3kg, which is the only criticism of this unit. This hand mixer has a bit of weight to it, but is incredibly powerful. I’m glad I bought it, as it doesn’t struggle, even with cold butter and makes mixing very easy. The added heat function is really smart, though can be a tiny bit noisy when turned on, but works incredibly well to warm up butter and the beaters below. Additionally, the copper coloured part that sits over the heater is removable for cleaning.
