My previous blender was from Sunbeam, it was AMAZING and lasted for 9+years before the motor died. It did everything SO well! I purchased this model to replace it and it was a HUGE mistake. Loudest. Blender. Ever. This could have been overlooked, had it actually performed basic functions. It does NOT crush ice, could not even make a simple smoothie. I have owned many Sunbeam products over the years, first time I have ever been disappointed. The finish is also listed as "stainless steel". It is not even metal, but a light weight cheap grey plastic that also looks tacky with my stainless steel appliances. For the price, I expected MUCH better from Sunbeam. Super unhappy, have returned. Waste of time!

Easy to use and switches on really quickly. The functions are very well timed for making drinks such as milkshakes. Makes smoothies with real fruits really nicely, it is good looking and easy to clean.

Blender works great and has been used multiple times a day in the few weeks we have had it. Lots of different blending options and it is very easy to clean which has been a challenge with blenders in the past.One note, the jug fits on the base no matter its orientation, however the blender will only actually run if it is on securely, which it isn't in all positions. If you ever get flashing lights just try rotating the jug and it should work.

If I could give this a 0 star rating I would. 1 star for the product because it blended things for a month before it fell to pieces, drenched my kitchen in smoothie and started smoking. -1 star for Appliances online as I've been calling them for two weeks now and each time there has been a promise of a call from their service department in the next 48 hours followed by absolutely nothing. I've tried to follow this up 3 times and still nothing. Apparently this is their "Legendary service".Don't buy this blender, especially from here.
Purchased the Sunbeam PB8080. Solid, sturdy and great blender. The base assembly comes apart so that you can clean the blades which is handy. The thickened plastic jug feels sturdy without having the weight of glass. So far I've only used it for smoothies, and it blends fruit and ice excellently. Looking forward to using it for other recipes also.
This is a great blender with many functions. Love our purchase. The only thing is the smoothie option is ridiculously loud and we use it for smoothies. I've been using the medium setting and it's fine, but it's just super loud. Very tolerable though because it gets the job done. I can deal with the noise for a minute in the morning :)
Given it’s price it’s fine enough and does the simple job however I wanted to use it regularly to make purées for my baby but the food keeps being blocked at the bottom and you have to stir it every 10sec yo make sure it works. It doesn’t chop veggies nicely neither as suggested. After two years of casual use I cannot wait to buy a better one. Also with time it’s hard to clean it and water has entered the handle.
I bought this product mainly because of the excellent reviews it had received. I’m quite annoyed that I bought this and not the same Breville blender which I was replacing (electrical fault). This blender is extremely noisy and high pitched, and doesn’t cut as finely as I had hoped. Smoothies often have chunks left in the bottom which is really annoying.I wouldn’t buy this blender again, but it will do for now.
Very happy so far with this new blender. Good choice of menu items that I'm still trying out.I use it presently to make my breakfast smoothie, and it does an excellent job, turning out a very smooth drink.
This blender is fantastic for protein smoothies full of frozen foods, making sauces, pesto...a huge variety of recipes needing blending. The appliance looks great and doesn’t take up too much room. It’s extremely well made and not too noisy. Love it...also, dealing with Appliances online is the best from buying to delivery and everything in between.
