Perhaps it was my perception of what a steamer can do. I imagined it could replace an iron. Sadly, this is not the case. For flat surfaces, what an iron can do in 2 seconds takes this steamer about 1 minute. It takes a while for creases to straighten out. There is also how fiddly it is. The steamer is easy to hold and not too heavy. However, the garment swings about on its hanger making it difficult to steam. Having said that, for curved surfaces, underarms etc, this is great. Finally those creases are easy to remove. I will continue to use this steamer but only for hard to reach areas.

My first foray into the world of steamers. At a pinch, it's great. It's superb at smoothing out already relatively smooth gears. But for collared shirts and the like, I find it's still easier and better and faster to iron. I was hoping this would replace the whole ironing and board operation, but it's not quite savvy enough to tick every box. That said, glad I got this. I've used it on the couches and couch cushions more than anything, and it's epic at that. Maybe with more time I'll adapt to use it more with clothes... But as it stands, it's an addition, rather than a replacement.

Perfect for getting wrinkles from business shirts. It heats up very quick it says 40 seconds but it feels much faster. It has a large water tank so you can do many shirts at a time before refiling. One odd thing when I plugged it in the first time it didn't work then I was about to return it I go I must have gotten a lemon plugged it one more time and it worked straight away and it has since then.
