The blanket has two faults:It does not heat under your shoulders. the heating elements finish about 250mm from the pillow, so the blanket gives you the cold shoulder.The instructions say not to run it on the pre-heat settings, settings 4 to 6, for more than 30 minutes, and yet when the blanket is turned on, it defaults to setting 6 for 1 hour. How silly is that? You cannot set the timer for less than 1 hour.
Lovely quick heating on my bed. Feels very comfortable heat. Instructions could be clearer but looking at it soon fixed that.
