This is the same model as our old toaster, which died after some years' service. I got the same one again because it's easy to use. The settings are very visible on the front of the toaster in a digital display, and you don't have to peer around the side of the toaster if you want to change the setting to suit the bread you are toasting. It doesn't always cook evenly (do any?) but otherwise no complaints.

I decided on this toaster for the countdown so if you're distracted you know how long you've got; it also beeps when done to remind you. Plenty of toasting options to suit everyone's preferences, easy to navigate and lever is handy for picking toasted items out or checking on browning. Easy to clean with minimal design.

I bought this because a friend has had one for a few years, and I really like how after the first round of toasting, the timer automatically reduces the toasting time to get the same amount of browning - genius! However the one I bought worked fine the first time, and then after that, the lever simply would not stay down, no matter how firmly it was pushed. The cancel light would popp on, then blink off as soon as the lever was released. I returned it as a faulty unit (which was a technological drama in itself for some reason) hoping to get a replacement, but the store didn't have any others in stock; the staff promised to arrange a replacement, but I never heard back from them. That's over a month ago now. So, disappointed on several fronts...
Toasts well and even. We use it with home made bread and it handles the thick slices really well. It has wide and deep slots. Wish the slots were just a bit deeper to handle high tin toast better, but it is the deepest I have come across. The electronics are good, but it doesn't remember your favourite setting if you power it off at the wall, instead it goes back to 2. Also would be nice if you could turn the beep off, but maybe that's me that needs to get use to another device that beeps. Didn't like it at first, but last couple of times when I've been busy in the kitchen that little beep has helped the production line.Toast usually takes two to three minutes. Excellent toaster. I had the same model previously for 4 years and went for the same again, that says it all! Great value for money and it does everything you need. I would highly recommend this toaster.
This is a good reliable toaster. I like the display and ease of choosing the setting that works best for you. The 'crumpet' setting is not so great though - cooks very unevenly. I just do crumpets as normal toast now. They're a bit soft that way but better than having the top edge burnt! All round I like this toaster
A stylish and sturdy toaster which we bought to match the compact matching kettle. The kettle is a great compact size for our caravan however the toaster isn't so compact. It's got great features though for toasting all the things - toast, crumpets, muffins - and the display counts down til it pops up.
We had a Sunbeam for 20 years and it was an excellent toaster. We bought this one to replace it based on the reviews. The only good thing is that it turns on. We have had it for 3 week now it we still cannot equal the quality of our old toaster. It does not evenly toast each side. Defrost either burns or does not defrost. The choice of either 3 toasting times does not seem ever to suit the bread so you have stand by to cancel when you think it is toasted. We would like to return it and have gone back to using our old sunbeam faithful. By the way the crumb tray keeps coming loose so when you put it away crumbs fall out.
Bought mine in late 2015, looks identical to this, and it worked well up until now. I don't know if 6 years is considered to be a long lifespan for a toaster or not, but I would have liked it to keep going longer. I live by myself and usually only use it once a day.For the curious, the fault is that the electromagnet that holds the toast down while toasting is no longer switching on.
