Pros: My pores look smaller, my wrinkles around my mouth and forehead seemingly disappeared after one use. I am 30 so I have a few wrinkles and am trying to put off botox as long as possible. This did help neutralize my skin coloring. I recently had 2 red age spots appear on my face. After 2 uses of this product, the new, smaller red age spot was completely gone and the second, older and larger age spot was significantly smaller and less red. Cons: Everyone is right about the dropper being the wrong form of packaging for this product. I use other Sunday Riley products with droppers (CEO glow and Luna), and I like those droppers and don't find them to be messy. Second, this product did leave a white residue on some areas of my face similar to other Niacinamide serums from other brands. It's possible that may have used too much product. Third, this product piled on my face after I applied CEO glow on top of it. I may have applied the CEO glow too soon after using the B3 Nice, but it wasn't immediately after and I don't have 30 minutes to apply each of my face serums every single morning. Fourth, I did have a couple of little breakouts after using this product. Just a few small whiteheads that went away, but this is the only part of my routine that was changed. Fifth, this product doesn't seem to spread on the face well. I tried spreading it using my hands and using a rose quartz roller just to try to see if it would help. My CEO glow and Luna sleeping oils spread like a dream when using rollers.

A RUNNY MESS OF A NICE PRODUCT

If you care to see the oxidation effects firsthand, visit Sephora and look at the muddy (versus lavender) color of the sample product and smell the school glue scent... it doesn't start out like this, I assure you.Aside from the packaging that I still can't quite wrap my head around, the actual liquid product goes on like a dream and dries down to a slightly tacky but really nice finish that glows. I've only been using the product for a few days and although it's much too early to see longterm results, I truly love the immediate effects it has.So ultimately, would I recommend it? That's a tough question to answer with a simple yes or no. Product gets a solid 4 stars with just a few applications thus far, but the packaging gets a solid 0, rounding out to a 2-star overall product. If packaging is corrected I have a feeling I will come back with a 4 to even 5-star review, but as for now, the packaging is so egregious that any rating higher than a 2 is too generous, especially at a Sunday Riley pricepoint.

Won’t be spending $65 on a product I can’t even trust is effective anymore.

Best niacinamide serum I've ever tried
19 July 2024

I was a bit hesitant to get this serum as I had hits and misses with the brand. But B3 Nice Serum appeared to be outstanding and the best in its field. Since I started to use it together with Skin Rocks Control Acid, my face has never been so resilient and clear of any pimples and congestion. I will definitely purchase it and will recommend it to anyone who suffers with breakouts or post-acne redness. One more thing I would like to mention is the color of the serum. It is not purple as in the picture. It is purplish brown with some small particles in it. But it should not stop you from continuing using it as it is effective.

Everything you'd expect from Sunday Riley!
30 January 2023

Sunday Riley gifted me the B3 Nice serum, and I really like it. For reference, I have mature combination oily skin. My areas of concern are uneven texture, slight redness on my cheeks, large pores mainly on my nose, and a few dark spots here and there. So let's get into it. This does a good job neutralizing the redness on my cheeks, and also minimizing the large pores in my t-zone area. It does seem to be addressing the uneven texture and giving my face a brighter appearance, however I have not noticed anything just yet when it comes to my dark spots. As far as the product itself, it's nice. The texture applies nicely and absorbs quickly. It doesn't have much of a scent, if anything a very slight clean one. I was pleasantly surprised by the pretty light purple color, and just so you know, it does not leave any purple cast. My only area of concern with this is the dropper. The serum just runs right out of it, so if you're not careful, it could result in wasted product. One star removed for that reason and that reason only. Other than that, it's everything you would expect from a Sunday Riley product, and definitely worth checking out!

It actually IS quite nice!
31 May 2023

I was offered the chance to trial this product, which I was quite excited about, as my once invisible pores are now not so invisible in places (mainly parts of the T-Zone). I have, in the past, been a BIG fan of Sunday Riley but have found myself becoming increasingly disenchanted with the brand, mainly due to what I see as a lack of direction, coupled with their EXTREMELY poor customer service so I was keen to see what they've come up with this time. For a while now, it's all felt a bit gimmicky, with products being released reasonably regularly, making big promises that don't live up to the hype, some of them then disappearing equally as quickly. For a while now, it's all felt a bit gimmicky, with products being released reasonably regularly, making big promises that don't live up to the hype, some of them then disappearing equally as quickly. With this as the backdrop, I really wasn't expecting all that much but I have to say, reasonably quickly I noticed an improvement in my skin's texture, along with a reduction in pore size and I think that the overall tone is evening out. I have to say that I disagree with other reviewers about hydration as this serum sinks in completely - and I mean completely - upon application so there is no way you could use it on its own unless you had skin which didn't require any hydration. In fact, I feel like my skin requires extra hydration when I'm using it but that's OK and easy enough to do if I'm getting the payoff of its main intended benefits. I quite like the purple colour and the fact that it isn't heavily perfumed which is always a complete no-no in my estimation. Why are people still doing that? The pump is easy to use and the bottle quite generous but you may need to use more than one pump, which I've not found with, say, Good Genes, which comes in the same kind of bottle. Since I've brought that up, I have been trying to get a meaningful, not stock, un-condescending answer for some time as to why customers in the UK can't have the same access to the original, flagship Lactic product that people in other countries like the US and Australia can buy. As we're no longer in the EU and they were the whole reason the product needed to be reformulated for this market, I don't understand why it can't be reinstated and people be given the choice of Lactic or Glycolic. I think it would fly off the shelves if it was made available here again and they'd have the best of both worlds as people could buy the active ingredient of their choice. They also pulled Tidal, which was a superb product but I couldn't get a straight answer on that either and now I'm left with a full tub that I kept 'in stock' and am wondering if it's OK to use as the party line was that they thought it could be better and it won't be returning or something similar. I'm mentioning this because whilst I think this new product seems quite good, I've essentially lost quite a bit of faith in the brand and am worried about their direction and general attitude to customer care and welfare. Cosmetics and skincare is a pretty crowded place to be. Those who treat their customers with respect and are serious about their needs and welfare and who make sensible, long-term decisions and don't treat their customers with contempt are the brands who will prevail. On the face of it (no pun intended) it looks like she's done OK with this one but let's watch this space.

I love Sunday Riley serums, so when their niacinimide was launched I was keen to try it. I’m still so surprised that when I look in the mirror in the morning my skin is even with no to very little redness and I can’t think of the last time I had a bad break out. Sunday better B Nice and it is 😉
20 December 2023

I tried saving money and using all of the OTC dermatologist recommended products, but alas, I still have rough patches and dry skin and even my oily t-zone was blah. I then switched to all of the even moreexpensive products friends and magazines recommended. But nothing worked - Still had the same dull and patchy skin. So I went back to my Sunday Riley regime and man oh man, NOTHING makes my skin feel so good as these products. Deeply Moisturized and QUENCHED. Youthful. No dead skin build up. B Nice is a new one for me and after two weeks, I’m loving the way my skin feels, def improved my hydrations levels and made my powers appear smooth. Never going to try to save money on it (or try to find something better for curiosity’s sake) AGAIN!

The Perfect Serum for Combination Skin!

I was gifted by Sunday Riley the New B3 Nice 10% Niacinamide Serum. First, can we take a moment to admire the packaging? This glass purple bottle looks so luxurious! The dropper shows exactly how much you are going to use. A pro top for droppers, do not touch the dropper to your face as it can cause bacteria buildup. I have a combination skin type that often gets oily and red easily and the 10% Niacinamide really helps and does it’s job because there has been an improvement of excess oil as I do not feel as oily and much less redness! My pores are smaller and my overall skin texture looks very even! I use this right after I cleanse my face. I use three drops by putting them on my hands and then my face. I went to Ulta specifically looking for something new to try to help target these problem areas and stumbled across this little miracle in a bottle. I asked the cashier when checking out if she had used it and she told me "You're gonna love it so much you'll wish you didn't because you won't be able to live without it again!" BOY, was she right!! Y'all.....the gasp I gusped after applying the serum. This product instantly reduced my pore visibilty and helped with redness. My skin has NEVER looked so smooth and radiant! My skin is smooth and my under eye wrinkles are diminishing. I am AMAZED. I use it every single day. I will never go without it again! TRUST ME, it is well worth the price.
