This was gifted by Sunday Riley. I had high hopes for the CEO Afterglow Brightening Vitamin C Moisturizer, but unfortunately, it didn't work out for me. While the packaging was beautiful and the texture was nice, the product broke me out and gave me some acne bumps. I was disappointed because I had heard such great things about it. Additionally, the scent was very strong and overpowering, which made it difficult for me to wear during the day. I prefer a more subtle fragrance in my skincare products. However, I will say that the texture of the moisturizer was nice and lightweight. It absorbed quickly into my skin without leaving any greasy residue. However, I will say that the texture of the moisturizer was nice and lightweight. It absorbed quickly into my skin without leaving any greasy residue. If you have sensitive or acne-prone skin, I would recommend being cautious before trying it out.

I just bought this a couple of weeks ago and am really impressed with it. Firstly, this product has a great, more stable form of vitamin c which makes me feel like I don’t have to be as careful with the product/container when using it. Also, as it’s a moisturiser too it allows me to do two of my usual skincare steps in one, which is cost and time effective, even though it’s on the more expensive side for me, this makes me feel like it’s worth it. It has a really beautiful consistency when you use it that feels quite luxurious. But the biggest reason I’m giving it five stars is that I really see the improvement it makes to my skin. For reference, I have dry, sun damaged, sensitive skin. My face tends to always look kinda red and uneven toned as compared to my neck (which is naturally much lighter).
