Used recently to tie down my awning when parked on a windy beach in soft sand. Worked well. Cause of thickness, requires peg to be sunk fully into sand to secure a fixed loop - likely easy to spot afterwards for removal.

Larger Size suitable for sandy soil and stringer winds. Is a lot harder to remove when finished due to long size
Hardy tough peg that is very light and holds well.
These sand pegs worked well. Camped right on the coast last weekend & experienced extreme wind and rain in an overnight thunderstorm. Sand pegs held tight. No worries there.
I have a 6x3 gazebo and these pegs are a must have for securing it, much better than the pegs the gazebo and tent come with. Holds tight in strong winds, do recommend you have a sledge hammer to put them in and for levering out of the ground. Once their in, they’re in. Great bit of kit.
Ill use these pretty much everywhere. Work brilliant in sand but also dirt, mud, clay etc. Perefct for the awning or tent. You may have to dig them out if hitting into dirt, they hold that well
Did a great job securing the screening on our van over the holidays - endured a category 1 cyclone event - awesome result! Didn’t look like coming out of the ground.
These are great, however did get a little confused as the description was peg & not pegs thus I order x 2 & ended up with 10. maybe update the photo or amend description to say PEGS.Otherwise very happy with product.
