Absolutely woeful product. I put my labrador retriever puppy on this (as directed by veterinarian gradually) and the whole time she was on it - She had recurrent anal gland infections. It was horrible! Would never recommend nor purchase again. What you save in money, you'll make up for thrice over with having to pay vet bills for arising problems with your beloved pet!

Although fine for some dogs, this food is very poor quality. I started buying it years ago with my rottie before she passed, I liked that it was endorsed by Dr Harry Cooper and it did alright keeping my girl well fed. As she got older I switched to a higher grade food and supplemented it with raw meat. It was a good choice and gave her a far better quality of life for her last few years (I found out after she passed that she had cancer) But I recently got a new puppy and put him on the supercoat as well. For the few months he was eating it. Things became problematic - he was hungry all the time, his gas could have put the UN on alert for a new weapon of mass destruction, his bowel movements became enormous, frequent and needed a hose rather than a poop bag. On top of that his behaviour changed, he became more destructive and got into eating his toys, poop, really anything he could get in his mouth. By the end his stomach growled louder that he does (he is a mastiff). It turns out that a lot of people have the same problem with supercoat, a lot of dog just can't handle the lack of nutrition and additives they use to make it seem premium and palatable. I have switched to Savour Life puppy food and I have my boy back.

Product is brilliant. A bit disappointing that only 6 months ago I was paying more that $12 less per bag! Haven't seen a good special on this product in a while. And do know other places selling for less so will be considering cancelling my automatic reordering here if I don't see a change soon. Sorry, but my budget is bursting at the seams and every cent counts.

Best Dry Biscuits !!!!
27 November 2021

My 8 yrs, 5 yrs, 2 yrs, and 1 year old love this food! My older dogs adjusted themselves to the extra goodness and eat less, whilst my babies still have the goodness they need. I've tried other flavours, even the fishy ones, but it's definitely these ones for the win ✌🏾

Chewbacca Loves it
2 March 2022

Chewbacca is a Rottweiler puppy and when I picked him up the breeders had him on supercoat so I kept him on it, and my vet recommended I get the large breed one for him. I couldn't believe the size difference in the biscuits and thought my little baby was too small for them big biscuits (he wasn't really that small ????, but he is my baby). But even though they are the same brand I still took the time to introduce them the same way I do any new food to him, as he has a sensitive stomach and well, you should always introduce anything new in small doses and ween off the old. And well now at 20 weeks and getting close to the 35kg he is doing really well on these biscuits, plus a puppy can food and a good brand of raw meat that has vitamins and calcium for strong health ... MoreChewbacca is a Rottweiler puppy and when I picked him up the breeders had him on supercoat so I kept him on it, and my vet recommended I get the large breed one for him. Do not recommend
11 July 2021

After seeing the reviews, I decided to purchase this for my puppy. Puppy did not like this and spat it out immediately. When he has had this it has cause him diahhrea and I would not recommend.

Especially for large breed pups.
5 November 2021

Baxter loves these biscuits. A good size for him to crunch, and has a lavour he enjoys. Michelle the vet told me best to buy the large breed biscuits because bigger pups have different needs whilst growing.

Great product
4 May 2022

A huge bag which lasts for ages with my two large hungry pups. The dogs love it, great price. Very happy.

not good for sensitive tummies
15 May 2022

never had a problem with this brand with my older kelpies, but my puppy seems to have a sensitive stomach and I believe this is the cause of her diarrhoea!
