This thing has held up for years. Which I think is rather impressive, as the majority of the time it's been in a plastic bag and tossed around fairly carelessly. I honestly can't remember how much I paid for this, but it didn't break the bank. I think that the two setting (high/low) are very useful. The high setting makes it come out faster and more liquidy and the low setting dries a bit faster, considering it wasn't quite as warm to begin with. The kickstand is very nice too. The one drawback I think this has is that the glue tends to drip out of the nozzle a bit, especially on the high setting. But if you set it over something that you don't mind getting glue on while it's plugged in, it's fine. OH, I just realized another drawback. I love this glue gun. I was a little hesitant after reading some negative reviews, but now I am happy I bought it. It uses full sized glue sticks but the gun still fits nicely in my hand, not too large or too small, well built not flimsy. It hardly ever dribbles, which is really great! It has a switch for High or low temp. The only thing I wish for is an On/off power switch, but very few glue guns have this feature and they are expensive. For this price, I consider it a great buy, and I use it for my craft and around the house all the time.

Well I have not used it yet, but I intend to tomorrow, I cannot believe the price, it has 2 temp. Settings, I looked at it, I sort of expected it to be made cheapbut all the components appear to be made to last,I will let you know in A couple days what my options are, but right now I am pretty impressed.
Bought for my 13 yr old daughter who lives to make crafts. She had it since Easter and it’s already held up longer than glue guns of another brand. Bought the recommended size sticks and overall I’m very satisfied with my purchase and this brand
Disliked this choice for replacement. How can this be considered equal? Instead of allowing the machine to pick the replacement maybe the human should activate and pick the BEST MATCHED item.Glue gun Glue Sticks vs. Glue Gun = same price. Fail.
I just used this for the first time yesterday. I used it on the "Low" setting and have not tried the High setting yet. It heated up to operating temperature in just a few minutes and worked neatly without excessive drips.
I was using it on the low heat setting and the trigger wouldn't work. Then I put it on the high setting and the trigger started working. I pushed the trigger and it exploded burning my hand terribly. It put hot glue on my clothes and ruined my project. I'm returning it.
I've seen crafters use this product, so I thought I would buy one. Actually, I now have 2. It's real easy to use. So glad that it has 2 settings. Very pleased this this purchase.
I purchased this item to upgrade from my mini glue gun which was and still working dine after using for so many years. I thought a bigger one would it be better. Unfortunately, this particular brand even though looks good the glue gun never worked! I followed all the instructions and even waited several days to try again but nothing! This glue gun never worked! I wasted my time and money!
