I have got a massive area affected by funnel ants. I have tried so many other commercial product but never had one improving the situation like this product! I definitely recommend this product. Please follow exactly the instructions!

I have been using this product for around one year,and so far it seems to be working in a manner of speaking. By that i mean that whenever i do a treatment outside and around my house, the ants go away after a few days, but about a month or so later start coming back again. Why this is happening, i can't explain. My main trouble is with black house ants/ coastal brown ants and the little stinging green ants. So i am controlling the ant problems to the main extent, but it appears to be an ongoing process. Lastly, my only other comment is, please can the manufacturer supply a second plastic lid/cover with many small holes, so the product can be distributed in a controlled and even manner. Due to neighbouring building works a number of years ago, I now have little black ants that bite and are gnawing their way into all my red river gum trees and even my fence posts so I decided on a full on blitz of every spot I knew these ants to be. I used this granular product as well as a liquid fipronil product and the result is outstanding. I tried to show a friend what these ants looked like about a week after application and I couldn't find a single ant. So that is literally millions of ants gone. No doubt, over a 5 acre property, I may find other locations and I also understand more ants can migrate over time from other properties so unfortunately this may be an ongoing exercise. Got a problem with big bad ants? Maybe little annoying black ants? This stuff will sort them all! We bad the big vicious red and black meat ants the one that are about 20mm - 25mm in size, fou d the nests and treated all entrances once, Three days later all gone problem solved. Fabulous product.

A lot less bull ants!

With 5 acres of bull ants I tried a few products incl Bifenthren but this product was by far the best! Has significantly reduced the bull ants already. Will be buying more!

Best ant rid product I have ever used.

We had meat ants coming into the house and getting on everything, we tried everything, then our neighbour recommended Fipronil, so we got some, and haven't seen any ants around since using it. Great product. Thanks

This stuff works on ant nests really well. I have eradicated large bull ant nests and hundreds ... yes hundreds of meat ant nests. Cannot comments on its effectiveness if used just on the ant trails.... I concentrate on finding the holes and, depending upon the size of the nest, half a teaspoon down the hole and they are very quiet after an hour or so. Most ant nests have multiple entry/exit points so this stuff works well because they don't seem to be overly upset by walking on it, therefore it attaches to them and goes into the nest. Other products I have tried upsets them and they avoid walking on it therefore the material is not transported into the nest as effectively. Its not cheap but a little goes a long way. Funnel Ants

My lawn was infested with funnel ants. Even my pest control guy said that he wouldnt be able to get rid of them. I discovered this stuff and no more ants. I applied it once 2 years ago and still no ants. My pest control guy now uses it.

One of the Only Real Ant Killers!

Fipronil seems to be a well kept secret in the pest control industry and unavailable from the likes of Bunnings and such. Hardware stores only sell useless powders and expensive bottled water treatments unless you pay ridiculous money for a few grains of another little known chemical. We have seen mind blowing effects at knocking off major ant problems with only a small amount at a few holes. It is not a deterrent so the chemical is carried right in to the nests, which could be a large distance from any surface hole. Just be mindful of using around bees, as even low non-lethal concentrations can disrupt a bees navigational system resulting in most of a hive never returning home.

You really have to destroy the nest and you can only do that with a non-repellent so the poison is taken back to the nest. I wasn't aware one could source a professional product for home use. Surefire Fipronil has been terrific in ridding me of in-ground funnel ants and house ants persistent in my external cladding. I apply Fipronil to each vent and water in thoroughly. After a week of the funnel ants making new vents I am now back in control of my lawn without having to treat the whole lawn. For the house ants I sprinkle it on their horizontal trails.
