Replacement for Suunto 7 that couldn't hold on battery for long in extreme cold temperatures. I have been wearing the watch for 2 weeks now 24/7 with HR monitor on and several exercises per week. The watch doesn't need to be charged sooner than after 12 days. UI is intuitive enough and easy to use. Offline maps take some time to initially upload but that's is only done once.

Very well designed sports watch (Running). Cardio is certainly his weak point in activity but at rest it is quite accurate.The OLED display is very efficient, GPS is accurate, in short, cheaper than Garmin (but fewer accessible settings and options) a good alternative

When watching reviews of Garmin watches on you tube, I came across a review of the Sunnto Race. Having used Sunnto diving equipment years ago, and knowing how well they are made, I decided to order one. The Sunnto web had no discounts, so I put an offer into F.C.W that was accepted.The watch arrived safely 2 days later. I have had the watch 6 days now, and all functions are switched on, current battery drain is showing 47%.I had a budget of Β£800 for a watch as a number of friends have either, Garmin Feneix or Epix. They seem impressed with my Sunnto. I know that the Garmin watches may have additional functions, but these didn't appeal to me.
