That evening, I decided to order a replacement and SVS had the best price on their site so I placed the order directly with them. When SVS opened the Monday after Christmas, I thought I would give them a call and see if the sub I had could be repaired. They answered the phone with a real person, and that great person spent about 25 minutes with me troubleshooting the issue. We determined that it was the amplifier. Then the great customer service tech looked up the serial number and confirmed that the sub was out of warranty. I expected this and was prepared and ready to pay for the replacement amp. But no, that great customer service tech insisted that it was not that far out of warranty and they were going to replace it at no charge. I tried to argue, but lost the fight. This all took place on a Monday morning, by Wednesday afternoon, a had the new amp in hand. Because of the excellent design, it was very easy to swap out, and I was back in business. I want to point out that, not only did they replace the amp for free, the shipped it to me free of charge, and provided a pre paid shipping label to send the blown amp back. Here I was ready to buy a replacement sub, and the same sub, by the way, and not only did I not have to, it cost me a total of $0 dollars to get my sub repaired. In summary, my 5 star review is not because of the great products, don't get me wrong, they are 5 star as well. Nor is it because they repaired my current sub free of charge. This 5 star review is a testament to their customer service. Having a knowledgeable person that wants to help solve your issue, and the company's dedication and enthusiasm in which they want their customers to be satisfied is something we just don't experience very often these days. You have a customer for life!

Dual PC-2000s

I already had one PC-2000 but, my listening area has a wall on one side and an open space on the other so I had a significant dead spot on the right side of the room. Once I had both subs dialed in the bass was amazing. These subs go way down into subsonic territory. I heard bass detail on movies that was not present with my old Polk Subs. I also like the fact that there was no Blue-tooth or app with these, just straight manual adjustments (some of us still like equipment that works without the internet).Truly amazing bass for the footprint (about 13 x 13 inches) and they look pretty amazing. Anyone want to buy some used Polks?

After much research and debate, I decided to purchase the PC2000 Pro. I was previously using a SB2000, which is a wonderful sub. After research I decided a ported sub would be the way to go for added ā€˜oomph’, and the cylinder subs really called to me with their smaller footprint. I have smooth bass response all up down the frequency range, and with my Klipsch speakers, movies are just that much more fun to watch. Realism and immersion are elevated with movies, music, and even just normal tv shows. I am happy to have discovered what I was missing and I cannot recommended the PC2000 Pro enough!

I'm a third time in 20 year customer. I'm very satisfied with the other products that are still performing as they should. My first purchase , I think it was 2002, was a pair of PC Ultras which were and still are amazing. My son is purchasing them from me for his house. My second purchase was a PB 12 ISD for our cottage. Again, it performed very well then and still does. This current purchase was a pair of SB 3000's for our new home. It has a very large open concept entertainment area. 15,000 c.f.. I had hoped the new SB 3000's would work for this area because of the nice compact form factor, which fit nicely on either side of the 12' fireplace entertainment wall. I had hoped the new SB 3000's would work for this area because of the nice compact form factor, which fit nicely on either side of the 12' fireplace entertainment wall. Even though I knew it would be a tall order for any sealed sub. They surprised me with their presence in this space for music, but they could not quite pressurize the room for movies. They were close, but the room size was just too much. I called and talked to Scott Miller and explained my situation, and he agreed the room was just too big for those sealed subs. We discussed trying the PC 2000 Pros along side the fireplace. Scott recommended the PC 4000's but they would be a little too tall for the placement. So even though I was slightly beyond the 45 day trial period, and technically not upgrading, Scott said I could return the SB 3000's for a full refund, and I purchased the pair of PC 2000 Pros. I received the PC 2000 Pros, but unfortunately the gloss black top on one of them was damaged during shipment. I sent an e-mail to SVS, Scott responded and I had the new top in four days. Amazing service and support all around. The PC 2000's do not have quite the mid base punch of the SB 3000's, but they can pressurize the room much better in my situation for movies which is more of what I was looking for. The wife is happy with how they look because they are the same height as my front BMW floor speakers so they hide right behind them. I'm a very happy repeat customer and would recommend SVS to anyone looking for anything that they sell. Their service, support and products are all top notch.

Borrowing from sports anchor Chris Berman, it's a rumblin' bumblin' stumblin' good time with this subwoofer.I am a novice when it comes to home theater. But with some perseverance, a few tools like an SPL meter, lots of great advice from the SVS website and other forums, I've found a good spot for my PC-2000 and actually configured Audyssey even better than originally with just the auto settings. SVS Even has a Bass Management page they suggested I read which helped me a lot. My AVR manual did not explain things as well. But I did check out the blu-rays from SVS's favorite bass moments (link is here): https://www.svsound.com/blogs/svs/103844102-5-of-the-best-home-theater-subwoofer-movie-moments- The "hot" track in the beginning 20 seconds of Edge of Tomorrow with PC-2000 scared the ba-geezus out of me and nearly killed my old sub.- In Tron Legacy the light cycles powered on and had a rich engine. The light cycle walls kicked in with even deeper weight.- Super 8's train wreck I personally didn't respond to but compared to my old 10 year old sub, there wasn't muddled booms, more compact and tight on the SVS.Personally:- The battering ram onto Minas Tirith's door in LOTR: The Return of the King was deep and rich and there was plenty of vibrations in the room.- Disney blu-rays intro where the castle zooms out and there are fireworks, those fireworks sound like the $50 kind that have launchers and shape of a small bomb! Not the lower cost kind in a box you light up. Just more complete explosions in that opening. Wow."More low frequencies at levels that you hear and feel", that's what I read, and by golly that's what I experienced.

The LFE is impressive. I really did not know what all the hype was about with dual subs until I heard it with Ready Player One, when you feel the impact move around the room I’ve never experienced that with a single sub.The PC2000 pro do take up a very small footprint and with a table cloth over them very inconspicuous. I’ve have friends over and never notice them until we watch a movie with deep impact then they will remark, ā€œwe thought those were end tablesā€The subs will reach down to 16hz as advertised. When YPAO set up the subs it put them at -10 I bumped them up to -7.5db because I like a little more bass. I have not played the subs to reference level yet because it is just to powerful for the room I’m in our living room is 14x14 and -20db is as high as I can ...Ā MoreThe LFE is impressive. Unbelievable sound in a large package

Being an audiofile back in the late 90s early 2000s (I guess Im getting old) I am amazed at the sound quality of the new home theater products. The PC-2000 is no exception. I have this paired with a Denon AVR S-950H and have upgraded to 7.1 + 4K. The balance of these new systems is incredible, and the PC-2000 adjusts very well to match the systems low frequency needs (especially at low volumes, where the older setups had a hard time balancing). The only constructive criticism I can give is the size (the PB and PC enclosures are huge). I use a super cube arrangement on the main level of my house, but I had to spend significantly more money to get close to the output of the PC. The PC also blows the sealed super cube away at low volumes. With the name you have built its time to invest in a higher quality symbol of your company.Output is pretty incredible, I have medium sized Definitive front channel speakers and medium sized Polk in-walls for the surround channels. This sub barely breaks a sweat keeping up with its counterparts. Deep rich sound for music and unmatched movie-heater performance.

bought the old PC 2000 and great product and customer care
18 June 2020

I don't usually write a review. By the way I'm not being paid here in my own little way I want to thank them and also share this so you can benefit too, there is only few companies that really value their customers and are truthful. I bought my 1st SVS PC 2000 few years ago that I couldn't even remember when. so buy this time the warranty is up. So I emailed SVS for their help diagnosing and probably fixing it. I'm even prepared to pay hopefully not much bec I really like the product when its working fine. So they respond right away with every email, told me how to trouble and diagnose, they found out the amplifier is the problem, to my surprise from Cory B the one I'm emailing with told me she did talk to her boss although out of warranty they are willing to ...Ā MoreI don't usually write a review. One more thing you could try their speaker if you don't like it complete refund , free shipping back and for. I tried it once it work. You could try ordering yourself. Regarding the PC 2000 very satisfied with it , the bass is more than enough for the money I paid, the material used are excellent looks beautiful too, but like everything it breaks sooner or later. but when it happens don't worry SVS will help you
