Reduce vibrations and get tighter bass response Powered subwoofers provide room-filling bass for movies and music. But often that bass is served up with a side of unpleasant sound effects — rattling windows, vibrating cabinet doors, and other sonic annoyances. That's where the SVS SoundPath Subwoofer Isolation System shines. Install them in place of your sub's factory feet, and see instant improvements in performance. Replace your subwoofer's existing screw-in feet for increased bass performance and reduced vibrations. How do they work? These steel and elastomer feet decouple your subwoofer from the floor beneath it. This eliminates the transfer of energy from the sub to surrounding surfaces, significantly reducing vibrations and other acoustic distortions.

I bought these because I have wood floors. I used my new SB-2000 Pro for a few days without the SoundPath Isolation System, because the feet were in a separate shipment and they got delay delayed with FedEx due to bad weather back east. So I had the opportunity to evaluate the subwoofer without the feet, and then with the feet, using the same system, the same sub location, etc. The feet made a world of difference. The bass is tighter and more controlled and there is no boominess at all. I was surprised that really made such a difference, and it did so even though I don't listen in this particular room at high volumes. The feet are quite a bit bigger than I expected, and seem really well made, and the other nice thing is that they prevent the sub from moving on the ... MoreI bought these because I have wood floors. Frankly, I think if you have wood floors, this is a must for pairing with and SVS sub. Highly recommended and definitely worth the money.

I recently purchased a set of SVS Ultra Bookshelfs, Ultra Center Channel and Prime Bookshelves to upgrade my HT system and retained my Velodyne FSR 15 subwoofer for now. I have a bit of a complicated but large living area and just couldn't get that last bit of turning of bass refined through crossover levels and volume adjustments on the Yamaha RXA-2A and sub.. So I decided to try the feet under my Velodyne. The feet are easy to install if you carefully flip the sub on its side. I used some hardware I had already because the bottom of the Velo doesn't have threaded inserts, it's wooden so i used some wood screws in the holes left behind by the footers I removed. When watching a movie a thunder clap hit and it startled me because it was so loud and well defined and quick! I think these footers have allowed the sub to "keep up" with the SVS Ultra speakers now. (They are very quick!) Listening in 2.1 the musical bass is tighter, less overhang or lag now. I was skeptical because this sub is very heavy and on padded carpeting, but they still help! Well done SVS. My next adventure will be a SVS Ultra 16 sub when the time comes.

I have had a pair of SVS SB - 4000 subs paired with 2 Revel PerformaBe M126Bebookshelf speakers in my music room for a little over 2 years now. They are powered with an Arcam FMJ SR-250 2 channel receiver and they sound amazing. I used Dirac Live software for room correction. I thought about getting SVS Soundpath isolation feet for my subs but didn’t think they would make much of a sound difference. I have a wood floor over concrete. I am thoroughly surprised that the already tight bass is even tighter! I will run Dirac Live again and look forward to hearing an even cleaner sounding system. These isolation feet are another well made product from SVS and I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase them. A very reasonable price for a great product!
I installed these isolation pads on my JBL ASB7118 subwoofers which I use on my 2 channel audio system in a decent sized room. The JBL's large footprint really coupled with my floor which is a typical 1st floor wood construction with carpet. Before I found these SVS pads, I had excessive vibrations throughout the house which detracted from the listening experience. These isolation pads really did the trick and removed a majority of the issues I was having. With much less of the house resonating and vibrating, the listening experience is very much improved. Make no mistake, you can not remove all of the effects of 18 inch subwoofers in a typical home, but these are very much worth the money to help de-couple the cabinets from the house. Make no mistake, you can not remove all of the effects of 18 inch subwoofers in a typical home, but these are very much worth the money to help de-couple the cabinets from the house. I needed to enlarge the mounting hole to fit my stock mounting points, but that was easy. These are very robust items that are more than just generic rubber feet. There isn't any deforming of the pads under my subs. I believe the claims that SVS makes that there are a fair amount of engineering hours behind these pads. Highly recommended and a great, if not mandatory upgrade if your subs are not isolated and not on a concrete floor.
I bought these to add to my SB-4000. My previous sub (Revel Performa B15) was set up with spiked feet on my hardwood floors. Even though I enjoyed the floor shaking experience, the addition on these isolation feet on my SB-4000 has brought out a much cleaner "punch" in the very low realms, without rattling everything that's not nailed down. I much prefer this set-up, to using spiked feet and really didn't know what I was missing in terms of heart pounding thump, instead of floor and window rattling noise. If you're running a sub on hardwood floors, these are a must buy. You will not be disappointed.
With the purchase of a PB-2000 I also purchased the SVS SoundPath subwoofer isolation system.I was able to compare the sound with and without the isolation system. I live in a 100+ year old wood frame farmhouse that's had some modernization done to it.WOW! I cannot believe what a major difference the isolation makes in my particular installation. Without the isolation there were things that would vibrate and rattle in the listening room and beyond. With the isolation- - it's pretty much eliminated all of those. Which makes the bass produced by the PB-2000 that much more detailed and accurate. Well worth the price. I wouldn't buy another sub without this isolation.
Helped reduce rattling items on walls, floor etc. a LOT. Not perfect and didn't expect a miracle, but a huge difference and does at is intended. Quieted down racket a great deal! Mounted on both an Hsu Vtf-3 and Klipsch rsw subwboofer. Had to use wood type screws (slightly larger) on the old, original Hsu sub, but I had some on hand that worked just fine. The Klipsch had the same type screws as in the svs set but were slightly smaller than the smallest ones in the kit. Just used those again. No problems at all. Glad I purchased these. All good!
I'm running an RSL system with two RSL Speedwoofer subs. The set-up is in my living room, and the subs sit on hardwood floors. Some room items constantly vibrated with deep bass music or especially with loud, deep passages in BlueRay DVDs. That changed after installing the SVS Isolators on the subs. Since then, the vibration is gone, and the bass is improved, sounding cleaner and tighter. After installing the SVS Isolators, I had to recalibrate the system, lowering the bass output setting on my AVR for each sub. The Isolators raised the Speedwoofers about twice the height that they were with the original feet, and they look great! I made a trip to the hardware store for some new screws and neoprene washers to install the Isolators with a little extra cost.
II screwed them into my Dayton passive subwoofers with four 4" drivers. I used the bolts of the subwoofer, adding a washer to stabilize its smaller bolts, and the SVS footers were thereby solidly attached. I could hear sonic improvements and vibrations went away, so I could play them louder than before. Well worth the money! Also, I put them on industrial style, very sturdy metal and wood side tables, to get them off the floor.
