Pros: Much wider viewing angle than comparable bullet cameras. Would not buy bullet cameras again after finding this out.Cons: Clunky plugs which you won't be able to feed through any kind of cable conduit unless the gauge is massive.
The red night vision faulty camera that developed in just over a year was a reason for considering a better system for the safety of ones home or business. The Swann support service is very long winded and time consuming without any real solution other than the purchase of a new system. There is no service to repair Swann equipment over one year old.
Direct replacement for one that went faulty after 7 years of continuous operation
Great camera. Unfortunately very clear footage including when I dart outside naked to fetch something off the line. Captures every roll and stretche mark. Love that for me.
Pros: Gives clear picture day and night.Easy to fitProfessional appearanceCons: The camera balls don't quite rotate up high enough to view above say a 8'fence across the garden. Could do with a horizontal elevation adjustment up to near horizontal to view climbers over a fence. I've had to sort of force the cameras rotation up as far as I can to get to panoramic garden coverage required.
At $40 this camera is fantastic. Jumping up to $70 prices this camera out of the market. For not much more you can go full digital and have a much better quality
