I have bought 2 of these door chimes and have set them up so that the front door and back door bells ring different tunes.These offer a very cost-effective and practical solution to meet my needs.I've been using the Swann wireless door chimes for over 12 months, and have never had any cases of phantom ringing. Maybe this happens if other chimes are sharing the same frequency in a block of flats or units, where there isn't enough separation between doorbells.Is it however really fair to blame the door chime in this situation?

Purchased from Bunnings. This model is nothing like the instruction card when opening the main unit to select a melody change. Be aware! It plays one melody only. The instructions are misleading and inadequate. Now I'm totally put off any product from SWANN.

We have lived where we are now for about 11 years and have finally got round to getting a doorbell. This one has some pretty good chimes, although it doesn't have the one I was specifically looking for (i.e. four extended descending notes overlapping one another). Being wireless makes it handy to install without the need to 'lay' cable and subject your fingers to multiple bruising hammering in retaining clips while you're doing so. One suggestion - make the sticky pads that mount the button a bit thicker. Had to source something else locally to do the job. Grrrr! Otherwise, all's well that end's well.
