When I ordered the swann montion senor I didn't realize that it only worked by downloading an app. I was hesitant to even bother with it but I'm happy I gave it a try. It doesn't beep at the senor, only has a blue light that comes on, which is good for testing purposes. The Swann Wireless Motion Alert Sensor is amazing! I placed this in my living room to catch any movement by the front door. Perfect for any entrances that you want to monitor. It was super easy to install, it connected to my wi-fi with no issues. I had it up and running within minutes. Sadly, in these times we need any protection we can get, I would defiantly recommend for anyone! It also sends alerts to my Alexa which made this product even more awesome!

This motion alert sensor is really nice! It is easy to install. It is wireless. No hub is required. 2.4ghz Wi-Fi. It is indoor or outdoor. Up to 16 feet. It is weather proof. You can recieve mobile alerts. It has wide 110 degree motion detection. It alerts you for people pets and cars. It works with Sean security. Overall this motion alert sensor is very nice to have!
I've been through several motion sensors and none lived up to their description. This one is great, I love the fact it sends a signal right to your phone as an alert when someone comes into it's motion, the setup was really easy to. It's detection is really good to and doesn't give me a lot of false alerts like others. Will be getting more for other areas around the home.
The Swann - Motion Alert Sensor is easy to set up and comes with 3M adhesive for easy application and removal. It was a breeze to download the app and set up communication between the product and my phone. It definitely works, sometimes a little too well. Any animal that crosses my front yard sends me an alert. They do have a do not disturb setting though which is nice.
If you are looking for a security system that can be quickly and easily setup nearly anywhere then this motion alert sensor by Swann is just what you need. Everything you need for installation is included and the device is able to detect motion up to 110â°. The Swann security app allows you to receive notifications directly to your phone when motion is detected. You can also add other Swann security products such as cameras and sirens to go along with the motion sensor at a later time. I would definitely recommend this product, especially to anyone looking for some peace of mind without the need for an elaborate and hard to install security device.
Iâve been looking at add motion security to my house but wasnât sure what to get since Nest is a bit expensive and isnât easy to add the attachments I want without spending a fortune. Swan has several inexpensive products that do a great job for fraction of the price of other system and you can do the install and setup all yourself. I was able to setup simple motion security and cameras in 4 different areas on my house and garage. Definitely recommend this system.
I have had the Swann motion alert sensor for a little over a month now. I had other Swann accesories already hooked up so this was a perfect fit for my existing system. This is an excellent motion sensor when you consider value and performance. My Swann system has always been effective so when I built a vault to keep things in my pole barn I decided to put motion sensors in and around the area. This sensor is super simple to install, maybe 10 minutes, and has an amazing range. It covers 180 degrees in front of the safe, and another one covers the entire interior. I don't have it set up in a large area but it easily covers the 20 foot range needed.
I have had this now for a while so can give it a fair review Pros : amazing battery life - Easy to install - descrete. Cons : doesn't send notifications unless app open ? - no temp reading like it advertises. (Misadvertised) - no sensitivity settings - can't link in to cameras to record if triggered - Conclusion : basically useless toy that does not send a notification unless app open and can't make a camera record .
