Due to anemia, Dr advice to take folate.After 2 weeks taking, doesn't feel fatigue easily. Really great!I'm vegetarian, so Swanson brand is vegetarian friendly, I love it!

This Swanson folate is delightfully inexpensive and comes in a really tiny plastic bottle-- cute and takes up little space, but it would be better in a glass bottle. The caps are also tiny. It's impossible for me to know if the 800 mg caps of folate are working. I use this in good faith that I have added protection. I gave only three stars because there are fillers and the composition of the caps are made of gelatin-- I assume it is pork gelatin.

This is a great methyl-folate supplement from long loved and trusted Swanson brand. The bottles are small and the capsules are tiny as they should be so as to not waste plastic and to minimize the fuel and cardboard consumption needed for delivery.
I just received my first order, so the jury is out for a review of the product. However, the packaging is another story. I pay attention to my carbon footprint on many levels and admittedly, a pet peeve is over-packaging. I shop many items in "bulk" so as to avoid the packaging, branding and excess packaging waste. There may be reason for the oversized bottle for 30 tablets that I don't understand, however, there is enough room in the bottle for 100 capsules, for which I would be willing to pay $20 and feel more like a good steward of our environment.In addition, previously my orders have come in a small cardboard box, which is both re-usable and re-cyclable. This shipment came in a plastic bag, which is neither.
This is the proper form of folic acid, and it is great for restoring deficiencies, thus restoring energy levels. It came in a cute tiny little bottle and the pills are tiny too, so easy to swallow. Great supplement, will buy again.
