Then I added vitamin K2, and it tremendously helped me absorb the vitamin D. Vitamin K2 is crucial to help you absorb vitamin D3. This is a very important vitamin. Vit K2 is not often enough in our diets and this can lead to many heart and bone complications. Pair it with K1 as well. I've been taking vitamin D for years but never advised to take K2 for better absorption. I believe I have pseudo gout in my right big toe and my right knee. My knee is very crunchy and collagen, glucosamine and others have not had much relief. Vitamin K2 is supposed to take the calcium deposits out of soft tissues which I believe is what is causing my right side pain. I've been taking 4 tablets with 10000iud D3. I've noticed little pain relief so I'll be stocking up and hoping calcium deposits dissolve soon.
