I have been taking this for many, many years and took grape seed extract since I was 42 years old. I also have taken Alpha Lipoic Acid for years. I am 71 years old and people who see me think I am 55 years old so these anti oxidants definitely work when taken long term. I even still have most of my hair too.

I had a SEVERE ADVERSE reaction to this. I took it for 3 days and within those time, I was bloated, nauseated, had a headache, hands and feet were swollen and became so sensitive to coldness. I had a severe adverse reaction to this. I took it for 3 days and within those period, I became sensitive to cold, hands and feet were swollen, severe bloating, headache, & was a bit nauseated. At night, I would wake up to a pain in my legs as if I was having cramps. I stopped using it after 3 days and all the swelling subsided. However, I developed a severe lower back pain which I could not explain at all since I've been in perfect health doing yoga and pilates for years. I will reorder this item - that says it all.I am pleased with the quality and I am actually taking this to help with low back pain.I have been taking this for about 3 weeks now and I feel it is helping.
I take it along with other aspects of Dr. David Sinclair's sirtuin regimen except no metformin. looking forward to the impending classification of aging as a disease so metformin can be prescribed for aging(I am a knock on wood healthy 74). the resveratrol complex, like all Swanson products,gets my five stars. I guess they're not even sure that it's the resveratrol in red wine that is good for your arteries but the case is getting stronger and stronger. These are very small and easy to take several times a day. I looked at many formulations and concluded that this one is most likely the best choice for effectiveness. Resveratrol is pricey so it's nice that these often go on sale at 2 for the price of 1.
I could feel a difference from my first dose of Resveratrol Complex. I had taken the components separately but it wasn't until I took the complex that they all worked together. I've taken these for several years now.
At 83 years young, and not taking any prescription medication at all, which could also be genetic luck, I believe in not taking any chances with my health. I don't smoke or drink more than occasional alcoholic beverage, and for my height of 5' 8" and 165 pounds, I am in excellent physical and mental condition.Resveratrol has been on my list of daily supplements I take, in the expectation that it certainly can't be harmful, given my excellent health and vitality. Whether or not it really helps, I cannot say, but the evidence is there in my overall condition. I highly recommend you do some further research on the claimed benefits of Resveratrol, and I can certainly recommend it be a Swanson product.
resveratrol is an antoxidant/antiinflammatory to some extent. It has been associated with life extension of rats and postulated to do similar things in humans. I am almost 84. Perhaps it has helped me live a bit longer
