I gave this a chance for 1 week and still my gut can’t take it. It’s the sugar replacement brand closest to white sugar BUT it gives me the runs. Had the same effect on my hubby and daughter. I had replaced our sugar with this 🤣. They never once questioned why the sugar tasted different but as soon as mentioned I didn’t like it because of the “side effect” they too admitted it affected them too! I’ll stick stevia, sweet n low or regular brown sugar

Ok, let me start by saying I have never used a sugar substitute. Always heard how bad they are (Equal, Nutrasweet, etc). Yet, all the research I found on Swerve was different and it sounded much better. Having adopted a diet that restricts table sugar, I needed to find something for cravings. After reading all about Swerve, I decided to give it a try. I was using a recipe for Keto Fat Bombs and this was the sweetener they recommended. This product made the recipe sugary sweet without being overboard. The confectioners sugar was smooth powdery. When my bag ran out I went to the grocery store, but they only sell the granulated Swerve. So here I am on Amazon. I bought the big bag this time as I really like this stuff.

Swerve is basically erythritol, which is cheap. Swerve is not as inexpensive. That is the only reason I give it 4*’s. This is such a great product. Like the confectioners version, it’s a cup-for-cup replacement and it tastes just like sugar. Now, if you’re a coffee drinker and you like your coffee sweet this does taste different. My chocolate coffee tastes way better with regular sugar. I think it must depend on some chemical reaction or something? Otherwise this is an awesome replacement for sugar.

I am so thankful for sugar replacements like swerve. I love to bake, but am trying to use less sugar lately. Im not a fan of stevia, it has a bitterness to it that i just cant stand. I would recommend all of the sugar replacement products from swerve. They all work as needed. I just wish the bags were a little fuller or bigger for the price.
Swerve is my go-to sweetener since I gave up processed sugar. It tastes great. I use it for everything- in my coffee, mixed with cinnamon and sprinkled on various things as a treat. It’s also great in baking. Has a one to one exchange with sugar, so easy to bake with. The main ingredient is Erythrytol, but it’s got something else added that makes it more palatable than plain Erythrytol, and easier on the GI system. I use a lot of it and never have had any GI effects. I absolutely love the stuff!

The muffins will shrink back a little as they cool. #influenster #influenstereats #recipe #homemade #chocolatemuffin #snacks #chocolate #muffins #lowcarb #diabetes #highfat #kidapproved #breakfast #glutenfree #grainfree #sugarfree #healthyeats
swerve is a great product and I'm so glad they know have Allulose as it is not unhealthy in the same way erythritol can be. it tastes great and it's worth its money. it's a nicer texture than the other ellos I bought.
I have started recommending this product to my family and friends. The taste has a better flavor than other sugar alcohols that I have tired. I have been adding this in my coffee and using it for baked goods. It was perfect for my family banana bread recipe.
I felt like it is less sweet than sugar. I have been using Swerve's erythritol (in orange package) and erythritol was very good, really measured and tasted like sugar, I used its erythritol to make creme brulee and it was perfect and it browned under torch just like white sugar. However, there was an article in February 2023 stating that erythritol may linke to cardiovascular risk (Titled: The artificial sweetener erythritol and cardiovascular event risk), so I changed from erythritol to Swerve's Allulose (this green one) because allulose, as far as I read into the papers and journals, is the safest replacement sugar on earth as of today. Of course, all these replacements are new and subject to further research so things might change. Even the Natural paper only came out this February and is the only one paper citing health risk of erythritol, therefore I am not saying you should not take erythritol at all.In short, if you are looking for something that really measured and tasted like white sugar, you should buy erythritol. Allulose, for me, is slightly less sweet and I have to compensate the among of Allulose I use for baking recipe. I use it to bake sweet bread and it is totally fine, you just need to add more. I used it to make Japanese fluffy cheese cake (which requires the replacement sugar to perform like white sugar to give a spongy texture) and it was also fine.
It measures like sugar so it’s super convenient to sub out In recipes. But it’s slightly sweeter so I do recommend decreasing the amount you use. The after taste isn’t horrible but it’s there. This totally works as a zero cal sugar substitute
