It was a surprise album, released on July 24, 2020, via Republic Records recorded after lover album kinda folkpop sound 3 singles released not her greatest work but durning covid it filled the blanks of not touring worth a listen maybe you tube a few tracks before purchasing

8/10 Faulty Vinyl || Great Artist

I love Taylor Swift’s Music so I had to buy this vinyl. I would’ve given it 5 Stars but noticed a couple of issues with the Vinyl. In the song “the last great American dynasty”, almost the entire song is skipped because of defect. I’ve gotten the vinyl twice and it’s noticed on both of them. I kinda of just decided to live with it since this vinyl is hard to come by but that’s it’s only error I haven’t noticed any thus far.

Album cover completely warped

The album cover is completely warped and won’t lay flat. I think the records are too big to fit in the sleeve of the cover, so it almost looks like a dupe. You’d be better off just buying the Target Exclusive. I don’t really like the red of it and I think it clashes so I was really hoping that this would work, but it just refuses to lay flat. I’ve even tried placing a textbook on it to flatten it out but it just won’t. Also, the records’ dust sleeves stick out of the edges of the album cover.

Amazing, story telling, beautiful

Folklore is truely one of the best albums she has made. The vinyl is beautiful and arrived safely. Sounds so crisp and just amazing. Im telling you Taylor Swift is one of the best song writers in history.

Bad batch?

Received this album as a gift and it was warped. My daughter returned it and got another, it was also warped so I tried to order one from Target. It was also a tad warped or something because it was skipping a lot through certain songs. Very disappointing.

Great album but buy vinyl with caution.

can confirm this Euro pressing of Folklore sounds great but quality control issues make it is hard to attain a perfect copy.I preordered mine. The first copy I received had very distracting clicking throughout Exile at the end of side 1 of disc 1 (my fav song). I was sent a replacement after I sent a video of this clicking but disc two of the replacement had pops and clicks throughout both sides.So I made a perfect copy by keeping disc 2 from the first copy and disc 1 from the second copy and gifted a very noisey and clicky copy to a friend.I use a high end playback setup (e.g., my stylus/needle costs more than a lot of turntables available at JB HI-FI) so I don’t need order a new record player th0ms :)

I LOVE IT

I love Taylor and so i decided to buy folklore so i could try finishing my vinyl collection and it came so beautiful (as always!) and i totally recommend! so far i haven't had any skips or anything like that so i'd say this is a 5/5 stars! I love taylor and i totally recommend <3

So far so good

Arrived quickly and packaged nicely. I was nervous because it’s so delicate but package had no damages. It’s a Christmas gift for my daughter so I don’t know if the record plays or sounds good yet.

Sounds Muffled/Distortsd

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS! I rarely write a negative review, but the first side of this album is distorted and almost unlistenable. I wasn’t able to return it because of some sort of music piracy restriction? They replaced the record, but the replacement had the exact same issue. I would not recommend this for that reason.

Terrible

I gave this as a gift - bought it back in February and just gifted. Sadly, it sounds HORRENDOUS. This pressing is so awful and I'm not sure if it's mine or all of them. I can't even return or exchange anymore because it's out of the window I guess. What a bummer.
