Excellent quality pot to use to boil water for pasta. I have an 8-quart pot with steaming and strainer baskets that also fit this smaller pot for easier cleaning. Lid also fits a frying pan I recently bought. It was on sale, so I bought to add to my cooking collection. Highly recommend.

For some reason the pan got several white spots after first use . Scrubbed a lot to clean it but the white spots stayed. Have bought may pans but never had this problem before
