Make sure you eat right, good food and the right amount, supplement that with this pill daily and possibly a few individual vitamins you're afraid you're not getting in your diet, exercise as much as you feel keeps you energetic, and that's about all that could be expected of you. This has a good quantity of most of what you don't get in a good diet... so you're getting your money's worth. Anything more is going to require you to take a lot more BIG pills, more often. Pill size is not too large, a little slippery, so they go down easily... Take them with your meal and other than the chemical smell, you won't notice it at all.

These one-a-day supplements have all the basic RDA of common Western vitamins and minerals, as well as a bunch of Eastern-style herbal extracts (e.g., Ginkgo, Ginseng, Bilberry, Fennel, Green Tea, Sasparilla, Parsley, etc.). The tablets themselves are very large, pale green and the outer coating has peppermint oil, which gives them a mild, somewhat unique fragrance. Unlike many other multi-vitamins, the dosages of the various vitamins seem reasonable rather than tending toward overkill. My husband has been taking them for a week and he hasn't really noticed an increase in his energy, but he also hasn't suffered any digestive issues either. If you're interested in non-traditional medicine and want your vitamins, minerals and herbs all in one convenient pill, these are definitely for you. Overall, a nice one stop shop for all your supplement needs.

Been taking these now for a couple of weeks while no longer taking usual multi-vitamin. No side effects or unpleasant taste. Sits well on the stomach. Taken with food as directed. The 'support during stress', 'assists energy production', and stamina & vitality' are all hoped for results. Hard to say with complete surety, but do feel somewhat better. Perhaps its placebo or maybe not. Ingredients lists looks good. The dosage is lower than some other formulas that have you taking 2-4 pills a day. One light blue pill a day for this one. So far I cannot make a case against it. It feels to be high quality and fresh. I like them. I think subjectively I would say they are helpful. Better than not taking a supplement. 4 stars for quality.

Prior to receiving these I had never heard of the Swisse brand. I decided to check them out, just to make sure that the ingredients weren't being sourced from China or places known to produce products of questionable quality when it comes to things like food and supplements. Turns out that Swisse is actually a fairly large company based in Australia. Nicole Kidman is one of their spokesmodels and their line includes quite a broad array of supplements. In other words, they look legit. The product itself looks pretty much like your everyday multivitamin. It includes a full spectrum of vitamins, minerals and quite a few herbs. Unlike most vitamins manufactured in the USA, the company gives virtually no information on how their vitamins are produced or where their ingredients come from. There are no statements about whether their vitamins are from natural foods or synthetic. No information on whether the product uses GMOs, are organic, gluten-free, vegetarian or country of origin for the herbs. These are all attributes that most supplement manufacturers go out of their way to mention. When taking a close look at the label, the amount of vitamins included are not very high at all. Many of them fall well short of the Recommended Daily Allowance, which is basically the minimum amount of any vitamin you need to have in order to keep from suffering from disease. It is especially deficient in vitamins D and E. So, if you are depending on a single pill to provide all of the vitamins you need for the day, this product probably isn't the best choice. It does have a lot of herbs that you do not typically find in most multivitamins. So, perhaps, this could be a supplement for your existing vitamin supplement. It wouldn't be the primary product I use though. The pills themselves are a bit larger than average but easy to swallow. They do have a distinct smell to them, but it really isn't all that noticeable. I have not felt any effects from these supplements as of yet. Honestly, considering the extremely low doses that this product contains I would not expect any changes to be noticeable anyway.
My husband has been taking a vitamin with added caffeine but now that he went back to energy drinks (after being off them 2 years, I'm frustrated) I decided we needed to change his vitamin to one without caffeine. I though this looked like a great replacement. The quality of the supplement is decent. It's not sourced from China or anything and I'm not worried about the quality of the actual vitamin or them having anything harmful in them. What I take issue with is that the doses of vitamins in this supplement are so low. Vitamin absorption is an issue to begin with unless you go with a liquid or a gummy. When you get a tablet that has such low vitamin counts you have to wonder if it's even doing any good. Another problem I have is the bottle doesn't say where the ... When you get a tablet that has such low vitamin counts you have to wonder if it's even doing any good. Another problem I have is the bottle doesn't say where the vitamins come from. Some sources aren't as effective as others and with this having low doses to begin with, if the source is one of the less effective sources that creates even more of a problem. I am trying to get away from my husband and I taking 12 different supplements a day in addition to a vitamin due to lack of proper vitamins and nutrients in a multi-vitamin. With this I'd have to add another B12 and D3 supplement on top of what we already take. We don't eat as often (or as healthy) as we should so supplements and vitamins are really important to us and I just can't trust this one to deliver what my husband requires to stay healthy. As a supplementary vitamin he'll take it because it does have some good herbs in it that are not found in other vitamins, but then he's again using it as an additional supplement. Not his main vitamin, which is what we are looking for and I was hoping for.
No matter what anecdote I provide, the case for multivitamins, the most popular dietary supplement, isn’t great. What intrigued me about the Swisse Men's Daily Ultivite is its formula’s focus on men's health to help maintain energy levels, mental alertness, and provide support during stress.” The multivitamin includes 53 separate ingredients — the tablet size confirms this massive formula — with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and herbs specifically for men's health to help maintain energy levels, mental alertness, and provide support during stress.” I started taking this multivitamin in the evening after my last meal of the day. The components focused on energy and mental alertness interfered with my sleep pattern, so I adjusted dosage after breakfast. There were no other side effects to report. The tablet is large (see the picture I uploaded where I placed the tablets next to standard ibuprofen for comparison) but not difficult to swallow. The tablets are coated with spearmint oil to reduce the medicinal taste. Overall, the tablet isn’t unpleasant to take. If the size is dauting, split the tablet; problem solved. Swisse Men's Daily Ultivite provides nutritional insurance but can’t replace a wholesome diet. Medical advice stands firm on this simple direction: Eat fruits and vegetables.” Fiber! Still, if nutritional deficiencies or malabsorption issues are your concern for maintaining a healthy lifestyle, the Swisse Men's Daily Ultivite addresses those needs. One final note: multivitamins can interfere with prescribed medication. Be sure to check with your doctor first. Rating: Three stars
It is impossible for me to judge the quality of these vitamins, so I will have to go by the nutrition information on them which in my judgment is good. It is, of course, best to get our nutrition from our food, but I, for instance, have trouble absorbing certain things. Also, there is sort of a mix-mash of other extracts in the mg and mcg range. It's hard to say if this is good or bad. I have trouble imagining any of these compounds are present in sufficient quantity to help anything-- but they probably won't hurt unless you happen to be allergic to one of them. If you have food sensitivities or allergies, I'd suggest reading the bottle quite carefully. Otherwise, eat as health as you can and take vitamin like these anyways.
One of the reasons I wanted to try these vitamins is because of the unusual list of ingredients. My husband and I are armchair body builders and we often discuss the use of supplments vs real foods. He takes a lot of different supplements and I insist that the real foods are better because they have micronutrients that probably haven't been discovered and named yet. However this has a list of ingredients that made me take notice, such as 24 micro grams of Gotu Kola or 7.5 micro grams of Horsetail. I'm not familiar with these items but the serving is so tiny that I didn't think they would do any harm. Well, my husband has been taking these for a bit over a week and he can't say he feels any different. When you feel run down and someone asks, have you taken your ... I never understood that, vitamins don't make you feel different but I kind of thought these would. They don't. They still serve their purpose of having above and beyond the RDA (which is helpful if your particular body needs might need more than the RDA, and you urinate the rest) so he's going to continue to take and see if anything changes.
These are very large and funny smelling tablets. Swisse certainly made some good choices not to overwhelm with any one supplement - small amount of vitamin D, Iron, Magnesium etc. if one of them is missing you have room to supplement on top of this all rounder. Most of the other ingredients are also on the same little bit of everything approach as indicated in the amount equivalents of all the herbal additions. I took them for over two weeks now and my energy and overall feeling is good - although not much different from my other cheaper multivitamin. I like seeing the seal premium quality formula it reminds me that if one brand got something wrong by excluding something you thought you are getting (we hardly have a chance of knowing) then mixing up several brands ... There are a ton of vitamins, minerals and other assorted nutrients jammed into these rather large pills. So many, that it's hard to get a handle on all of the stuff that's inside. Contains high doses of most of the better known vitamins and minerals. Others, like Calcium (5% RDA), Iron (17% RDA), Biotin (17% RDA) and similar, you're going to have to get from your diet or from another supplement. There were a few additions that didn't seem to do much good. For example, 1mg of CoQ10. Not sure why they bothered, as I don't think 1mg will do you much good. But on balance, it appears to be a fine product with a lot of good things going on. Again, large pills, so some might have trouble with this, but overall otherwise recommended with a 4 star rating.
