When a man gets a little older, prostate problems, both mild or serious can develop. But you don’t have to older to have symptoms - I discovered at an early age that my prostate was sensitive and could become inflamed quite easily. Even in my late 30s, I had to deal with a couple of cases of prostatitis. So I’ve been taking things to support prostate health for a very long time.In this formula we find all the usual suspects, pumpkin seed (man I used to eat them by the handfuls,) reishi mushroom (all around immune support,) licorice root (demulcent) Dyers Woad (new one to me,) stinging nettle, turmeric (anti-Inflammatory) Asian ginseng (male support,) saw palmetto (numero uno herb for prostate support,) and tomato (lycopene.) Swisse has also added vitamin D, folic acid, zinc (also included in most prostate formulas,) and selenium. (important trace mineral.)Knowing from experience how much these herbs can help support prostate health, I would’ve unequivocally recommended this formula but for two issues. The first downside is rather trivial: the pills are rather large, and a full dose is two tablets. The second downside could be a deal breaker for purists. Note that tablet coating has a number of bad things in it: polyvinyl alcohol, titanium dioxide, polyethylene glycol and magnesium stearate being among them. These are things that aren’t supposed to go into one’s body. I’m sure these are extremely small, probably negligible amounts, but for those who are aware of and trying to avoid these types of things, this product is most definitely not for you.I would’ve given this product 5 stars, but I am docking it two stars because of the “other” ingredients listed on the label. Note that none of the ingredients are listed as organic, if that matters to you.

These are as great way to get the vitamins necessary to keep the prostate healthy and functioning. These are easy to take and do not have an unpleasant odor to them. I was happy to add these to my daily vitamin and supplement intake. They are packaged well and are a pretty good deal for the money.

I tend to be a supplement snob. I want high quality, as natural as possible and no filler or junk. If you have typical prostate growth due to age, saw palmetto typically helps, but it takes a couple of weeks to begin to see any relief.

Hubs has had prostrate problems in the past and the medical treatment was pretty rough and he has no desire to ever go through that again. So, he has been taking saw palmetto and pomegranate powders for the last couple of years and so far so good. This supplement doesn't contain pomegranate powder but it does contain a good amount of saw palmetto and other good ingredients. The pills are large, unscored, and 2/day is the recommended dosage. He only takes one pill per day because he's taking other supplements that contain ingredients that overlap with these, but so far he has not experienced any negative side effects from them. He's taking them now to maintain prostrate health and not necessarily to resolve any issues.
I don't have any prostate issues at this point in my life, and I hope I never do. I'm getting to the age where I need to start focusing on taking care of myself so I decided to start taking supplements like these. The pills aren't huge and they don't have a strange smell or taste to them, and that's an important thing for me. I've been taking them regularly and I haven't had any stomach issues at all. I'm very impressed with this brand.
This is a great blend of positive beneficial ingredients for male support in all areas, with some other extras. Because there is a huge list of ingredients, you may want to skim the ingredient list to make sure there isn't anything in there that your Doctor recommends you don't take. While I love this blend, it is on the pricier end and is over in under a month if you take the recommended two a day. You can get a simple saw palmetto bottle somewhere else for much cheaper.
As anyone whose age gets up there, you start to notice they head to the bathroom more and more often. This happens more in men, as the walnut-sized prostate gland starts to swell & pushes against the bladder causuing you wanting to urinate even though the bladder is not even half full.I used to wake up at nights 3-5 times while I sleep, the constant urge wanting to go to bathroom wakes me up & leading to fatigue the next day at work.Through Amazon's Vine Voices Program, I came across this Swisse Ultiboost Prostate Supplement. They contain a high amount of Saw Palmetto which is known to promote prostate health. Ever since I've been taking two Recommended tablets daily for about a week, I can tell my trips to the bathroom has dwindled, giving me more much needed daily ... MoreAs anyone whose age gets up there, you start to notice they head to the bathroom more and more often. Ever since I've been taking two Recommended tablets daily for about a week, I can tell my trips to the bathroom has dwindled, giving me more much needed daily 7 hour or so of sleep. The VERDICT: Swisse Ultiboost Prostate Supplement really works, if taken as directed HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
I've done my homework on prostate supplements and have enjoyed some success with urinary flow improvement and so forth. That said, this Swisse Ultiboost Prostate Supplement seems to include it all (elements that I've had to obtain and take separately). Beside the expected saw palmetto, this supplement includes other lesser known aids such as selenium and vitamin D. I'm very, very pleased with this all-in-one for prostate health.
On first bottle ,which is nearly finished. Has worked far better than many others I've tried for past several years. Several nightly toilet stops have become one late morning visit. & then it's not "urgent". I drink large glass of water prior to going to bed. Will continue & see if things change [which I will report on]
Oversized pills combine a variety of ingredients. The expected components are there: selenium, zinc, saw-palmetto. Other, less-expected components make an appearance. Tomato extract? Stinging nettle? Turmeric? And quite a few more.I appreciate trying to combine similarly-targeted ingredients together, but this seems like a semi-random hodgepodge to support the broad claims on the label. And despite the size of the pills, most of those extras have only been studied in doses much more substantial than found here. For the food-type ingredients, you're almost certainly better off obtaining them in, well, food.Pictured: One pill with a US dollar coin for comparison (1/2 dose)Quibble: I hate the child-safety caps on products like this. This one is much too difficult to get open for something you're going to use every day. The supplement looks nothing like candy, and for pete's sake, just keep it out of the reach of your kids (who can open these caps better than most adults anyway).Another quibble: A brand named Swiss(e) that trumpets its Australian heritage. Not sure how that makes sense, but apart from weak branding, it's misleading, since it implies the product is from a country with a very particular reputation.Bottom line: I'm not a fan of combining ingredients that are well-studied with others that seem to be selected at random, especially in doses likely too small to help (and better obtained from diet).Add in the huge size of the tablets, the naming, and the child safety cap, and I suggest keeping on looking.
