I bought a fondue pan (Swissmar Lausanne 11-Piece Copper Fondue Set) in Jan/2020, but I used just a few days ago. The pan is really beautiful, but the quality is so bad! After the first use the pan was demage, all tarnished in the down part! Just to inform I used the pan as the orientation and the swissmar fuel gel too. I repeat: After I finished my fondue dinner I saw that the copper pot was faded. My understanding is that it can not occur. The "rose" color was faded and the pan now is stained. My understanding is that it can not occur.

I bought this for my bestie... she LOVES copper :) It has the heavy-duty pot inside so you can cook everything in it not just cheese sauce! Amazing pot!

I bought this because I love the warmth of copper and it is a beautiful, sturdy set. Unfortunately, the very first time I used it, the cheese that inevitably got on the copper "fork holder" top left marks that won't wash off. I've tried copper cleaner, dish detergent, and hand soap, but I can't get the marks off. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to keep it anyway, but I think it's going back.

My husband and I purchased this back in December and love it. Whether we're making cheese fondue or a beef and wine broth fondue, it's perfect for a fun switch from our normal dinner routine. The only downside is the copper is tarnished a bit making it not look so appealing but still works great!
Purchased the fondue set as a gift present. After a lot of research on the internet of the variety of fondue pots, this one by far had the best appearance and along with cute appetizer plates made for a great present.
This is a showstopper. It make an easy fondue dinner feel like a special occasion. Like other reviewers, I found that the copper stains very easily. Spots do not buff out like a regular tarnish. Copper might be sealed in something? Still a great set if you don’t mind a few splotches—just don’t know how much longer she’ll take my breath away.
Santa brought this to our family as a holiday gift and we celebrated New Years with fondue. It is a beautiful set and easy to exchange the bowls. So far we only used the one for cheese but it stayed hot and didn’t scorch.
Just purchased this unit. It seems to be of high quality and looks great. I like the versatility it has to do both oil and cheese/chocolate. Five stars!
The copper is peeling on the bottom after one use. The copper also stained all over, just from washing it the first time. This is a terrible purchase
