Have yet to use, but they will definitely do the job. I bought them specifically to replace the bungi straps on my 50lt an 90lt eskies.These are strong enough to hold the lids down, an are made to be used on your espied, if you can't afford the expense stainless steel units, then these zinc plated units are perfect.... as to how long they will last, I can't say, but will certainly be looking forward to finding out first hand...
