Unfortunately the self adhesive stuck to the peel away backing of the product, essentially meaning the product was no longer self adhesive. Thankfully I could use super glue to attach it to a door frame. So far it is performing well, however its important to keep in mind that this will not compress as much as foam alternatives, therefore it may not cope with warping of the door or window / frame as well as foam might.

Has lots of bad reviews but it was the only one I could use for the job. Used 4 rolls of black and 5 rolls of white and did not encounter any of the problems others have had in the past. Protective tape came off easily and the product has stayed in place for over a month.

The product itself is good, but my door gap is not even, some spots make contact before others and as a result the door doesn't close properly anymore. It would've been good if the material could tolerate some more deformation.

I was a bit hesitant about buying this, as a lot of reviewers stated that it didn't stick. This is not the case. It sticks well, and also seals gaps in doors and windows really well. I have also used it on the car, as an extra seal for the doors, and boot. I suspect that the people who complained that it did not stick, actually peeled off both the backing tape, and the sticky tape at the same time. It's not easy to do but can be done if you are a bit heavy handed and don't read the instructions. I can think or many other applications for this product, and at the price, I recommend it to all.
Agree with all the other reviews, which I really should have checked before buying this product. Oh well, lesson learned. It seems like one of two things happen. Either the paper backing for the self adhesive continuously rips off in tiny pieces and does not come off in one simple, clean, easy fashion. Or, the paper backing comes off along with the self adhesive tape. Either way, it makes for a very frustrating experience and after 20 mins trying to do one doorway, there's really only one thing left to do - put it straight in the bin.
Adhesive came off with the strip when trying to peel back. Then the seal itself pulled apart. Such a disappointment.Even as cheap as it is - not worth it at all.
As other reviewers have written, the backing comes off with the adhesive, rendering the product useless. I would give it no stars but that isn't an option with this review. It was cheap but I am going to take it back to Bunnings and suggest they no longer stock this product.
Bunnings should not be selling such an inferior product. Should have read the reviews before I wasted my time on this cheap seal. Removal of the backing tape removes the adhesive as well, rendering the seal absolutely useless. Pay more a better product.
Purchased June 2022.All I can suggest is they've improved the adhesive issue. The orange backing paper peels away easily enough, and the adhesive on the product is very good.I've left mine joined and pinched the double-D into sliding windows with great results. Clip lock still engages, but it's with more effort as you'd expect.Notable draught reduction.
Worse than useless. Not only does the adhesive strip peel off with the backing tape so it can’t be used, but there’s also a pin inside the packaging holding the strip in a spiral which is quite dangerous.Stop selling this piece of garbage Bunnings!
