I don't have glasses or bad vision but I do get red eyes all the time and sometimes one eye will water a little out of nowhere. Then on some mornings after waking and watching tv my eyes feel weird like hot I guess bcuz I couldn't pinpoint a easy to describe it bcuz they weren't itching or feeling like something was in there. I realized it was most likely dry eye from always having ceiling fans on and makeup over the years and all that. After reading about preservatives in eye drops and how bad they are for your eyes and will make your vision decline with continued use I seen most eye drops I've used had preservatives in it but these systane balance RESTORING dry eye relief eye drops don't and they help to Fix dry eyes with use such is a great plus. When you first use these, you yourself can tell the difference between these and other drops that claim to be a lubricant eye drop. These have mineral oil in them which is what I think I feel when these go in as your sight would be cloudy for less than 5 seconds but I only have to use these ONCE A DAY JUST ONCE! I will use these and only these for now on and I'm so thankful systane not only made a preservative free eye drop but a dry eye restoring eye drop that works immediately and added on top of that something that restores your tears lipid layer with use. Its a smaller bottle and I bought a 2 pack on Amazon for 17 for me and my boyfriend who has bad dry eyes bcuz he wears monthly contacts. The price is worth every drop if I only have to use these ONCE a day compared to multiple times a day with other brands to no relief. Also it doesn't say discard in 45 days or 60 like most eye drops which is a waste if you have a big bottle. These had expiration on the box that said 2/21 which is plenty of time to use. This also made my eyes clear and free of redness after using, which it doesn't claim to help redness but it did for me which is another godsend.

These drops have been my go-to for years now. They’re effective and don’t seem to make eye dryness worse, which other brands have done. When it comes to the different options that Systane sells, I’m not sure if this product is actually any better or worse than the ones that are labeled “COMPLETE” because the ingredients seem similar, but more importantly, I don’t notice a difference in function between the two types. I prefer the small dropper bottle to the individually packed ampules as well because those usually have product that gets wasted. Overall, these are great and last awhile, and I’ll continue to buy and recommend this brand.

This product works great if you are diagnosed with dry eyes. It also helps with the redness that comes with allergies, winter weather and wind. Before I started using this product sometimes I would walk outside and it was so windy and cold that literally tears were running down my face. almost like I was crying - which I wasn’t. I went to an ophthalmologist and this is the exact one that she recommended for me. And it’s been life-changing. Before it was so hard with mascara- I could only use waterproof. And forget eyeliner- I was lucky if it lasted an hour. Great product and not that expensive.

In my job, eye strain, eye tiredness and redness come with the job. I also have dry eye. This is my over the counter go to for fast, long lasting relief. My eye doctor first recommended it as an alternative to more expensive treatments including medication. He was right. I use it all the time and have bottles stashed everywhere. You can find this easily at Walmart or your local pharmacy. It is long lasting and affordable. I like it very much and it doesn’t further irritate my sensitive eyes.

After having both eyes go through cataract surgery and on top of that I suffer from severe dry eye. I had tried several different brands recommended by several different eye doctors and specialists. Of moisturizing eye drops and sustained seems to be the one I like the most you can get it in a watery sort of texture or you can get it in a gel-like texture. I've got them both. I use the gel at night and it's blink activated to every time you blink. You lubricate your eyes and there is like a Les. Viscous version that I keep in my purse and every time I feel a little dryness or my sight starts to go blurry, I just pop it in and I'm good to go very soothing that's what it's supposed to do little bit expensive. Several years ago I started to have issues with my eyes constantly tearing. I cannot tell you just how life-changing that was, anything that required me to see became a challenge. Due to my constant blurred vision from my tearing eyes It affected me on a daily basis in so many different areas of my life I was unable to comfortably read anything, work, walk, not to mention under my eyes became a mess and wearing makeup was also a challenge. I finally went to the doctor and he diagnosed me with dry eye and sent me home with a bunch of samples. I religiously used the samples as instructed and there was hardly any change. I made it my mission to find an over-the-counter product to effectively address this condition that I was getting very tired of. I finally tried systane gel drops and they worked! I noticed that the consistency of these drops were thicker then the other drops that I tried, the gel worked more effectively for me. As soon as I put the drops in my eyes I felt immediate relief and the tearing subsided. It's terrible to have dry eyes It feels like there are grains of sand in them every time you blink. As I mentioned the gel formula is a thicker consistency so make sure if you decide to try this particular brand that you get the gel drops.. If you experience dry eye or constant tearing i highly recommend this product. But of course you should always check with your doctor and get a proper diagnosis before starting any treatment. I am so grateful that I found this product! #amazon #dryeye #eyedrops

Ok, well I answered my own question by trying this. I've literally tried everything for my dry eyes. And I mean severely dry. Not, dry from looking at a computer screen all day, or dry from wearing contacts,( and yes I used to wear contacts trust me it's no comparison). I have chronic blepharitis as well as ocular folds it's like my eyes are literally chapped because of it. My eyelids stick to my eyeballs. They become swollen and painful because there is such a lack of moisture. It's agony. Not normal oh my eyes are dry. Systane gel won't help at all because my eyes are so dry it rolls right off without coating or absorbing. I read to try a drop with oil in it and this was specifically one of the drops named. Nothing is ever going to give me 100% relief, but this drop is by far THE best I've used. Instant relief, the pain is gone, and it's lasted more than 2 minutes. My eyes almost feel normal. It was blurry for a few seconds, and there was a slight stinging sensation, not bad and it didn't last long at all, and that may just be me because of the severity of my issue. Overall yes. I can highly recommend these for severely dry eyes.

I was recommended by my optometrist to use these gel drops by Systane along with my regular eye drops. From overwearing my contacts I had caused 90% of the veins in my eyeballs to start coming to the surface from lack of oxygen, causing severe red and dry eyes. I was miserable. But after using these drops twice a day for about two weeks I had gone back to my optometrist's office for a follow-up where he told me that my eyes were 99% back to normal! For anyone suffering with severe dry eyes please don't hesitate to buy this product! It's definitely worth the price!

I have dry eye and use these in combination with RX drops. It leaves a film on my lashes so I use prior to washing face, shower as everyday a.m, p.m. routine. The gel blurs vision for few mins then leaves eyes feeling refreshed and lubricated. Approved by my corneal specialist ophthalmologist

This is the ONLY drops that I can use on my super sensitive eyes. I had tried others within Systane and also other brands, but they all burned badly and caused great discomfort. This Systane Balance does not. I highly recommend this product. My one issue: the price. I buy when on sale or with a store coupon. And I don't buy in quantity because despite the small size, there really is a substantial amount of solution in the little container. ALWAYS check the expiration date on the box when purchasing. Always shake it before use.
