Visine burns. Refresh drops don't do enough. These drops have been the most soothing and moisturizing of all. My eyes seem to like them even more than the celluvisc or the other ones that have oil. They are the perfect everyday/night eyedrops.

The older I get the drier I seem to become.I have dry eye condition, dry mouth and drier and drier stools.Fortunately SYSTANE pretty much covers the eye dryness.My eyes regularly feel warm and irritated for no particular reason, just living.A drop of the med immediately cools the eyes and though dryness may return, I can use the drops again. I usually use them twice a day, but have the comfort ofknowing I can use them as needed.

Additionally, if you must use eye drops daily, the common preservative used is benzalkonium chloride (aka BAK). This compound exacerbates dry eye discomfort and can, over time, cause eye damage.With all the contaminants in the air today, I must use drops daily, so I only use Systane vials. And if you put them in the refrigerator for Summer, they are very soothing. Even if you don't have dry-eye, these drops are great preventative protection for your eyes.

These have been wonderful for my severe dry eyes. It seems to last longer than many other eye drops I’ve tried before, and I’ve tried soooo many before. I like that these feel more natural with no oily aftermath, unlike many other brands I’ve tried. Great product!

I had tried several eye drop brands prior to Systane.When I started using the Systane Hydration drops, I noticed an immediate difference between these drops andOther brands. The Systane Hydration drops really hydrate the eyes and takes away that dry, itchy, gritty feeling.Watching TV and reading, I notice my focus and vision is clearer. I’ll be quick %26 to the point — I’ve had aggravating allergies %26 problems with dry eyes for atleast 15 years. Rewetting drops have always been BARE MINIMUM but the past couple years these new brands have blown my mind at how well they work. I found this brand and will not deter unless quality drops bc wow. I got these to keep in my diaper bag bc I tend to “lose them” when I take a whole bottle out — especially if a friend tries them. The hydration drops are my fave right now but I def switch it up %26 definitively keep 2-3 diff kinds at all times. Same brand, just different products. Worth every penny %26 I’d probably pay double!
So happy to have found this. I seem to have developed extra sensitivity in my eyes when the pollen count is high. My eyes were so bad I was convinced that I had an infection. A friend said that she had talked to a lot of people with the same complaint. I researched eye drops for allergies as far as ingredients go. Within an hour my eyes felt so much better. Now when I wake up with the same symptoms I don't stress, I just put a couple of drops in and ask able to wear my contacts! Only drawback is the price.
Bought this to compare to Retain eye drops. These were a bit less of a "sting" but were a difficult to squeeze out of the single vial. Wasted drops as my hand started to tremble a bit from squeezing, but did have enough in the vial. I decided that I prefer these to the Retain which my ocular ophthalmologist had recommended for my very dry eyes. The Retain was more expensive also, but I bought each with CVS coupons which brought cost down. Still, I have to hydrate my eyes at least 3 times a day, and I do not "re-use" one that already has the protective end-cap off. This is an amazing product that offers supreme hydration for dry eyes. I have Sjogren's Syndrome, which dries out the entire body, and I have suffered for years with painful dry eyes that affect my overall vision and interfere with the performance of my job. I now have a prescription product for morning and night, but Systane Hydration keeps my vision top-notch during the day!
As most people, I have very dry eyes since my cataract surgery. I find the others Systane products containing preservative products to be slightly irritating to my eyes. The vials are preservative free. My only negative is that the soothing relief I get only seems to last about two hours. I do love that I can pop them in my pocket and take anywhere. Ann Z
