Im not the only one. look at the reviews on Amazon. And to top it off I This my third time trying to get ahold of someone for my defective pressure regulator for the canner I have only used twice. Cinthya has responded to me once asking for my address to send me the updated version of the pressure regulator and since then I haven't heard back after multiple attempts. Its been over a month now and I am furious about this. Its only been used twice and could never get up to 15 psi AS ADVERTISED. Now your customer support isn't available? What waste of my money I will never buy a Tfal product again. Reviews on this product say other people been having this problem. This is not a way to take care of a customer.

I finally got around to using my pressure cooker/canner and I'm not particularly happy with the result. The basic operation is simple. I've used an Instant Pot for several years now, so twist the lid into place, the lid lock valve closes after enough steam builds, etc. However I was canning and I needed 10 pounds of pressure. According to the manual, that should have been "1" on the dial. "1" on the dial topped out at 5 pounds. "2" on the dial moved up to about 7 or 8 pounds. "3" on the dial took it to about 12 pounds which was more than I needed.I'm left wondering whether the valve (1/2/3) was misbehaving or whether the pressure gauge was incorrect.10 pounds is kind of minimal, so if I need more, I'm out of luck. I don't know what I will do.

Ok I get it everyone is crying on how it won’t READ 15psi. But have you ever wonder hum perhaps your altitude is different and perhaps you didn’t read manual. Look t-fal is a billion dollar company so pretty sure they tested it at 15psi even though the gauge MUCH LIKE A COMPASS reads TRUE TO THE AREA ITS AT. That being said you can bet your bottom dollar I’ve used this thing for 5 years and yes it reads 14 but it 100% cooks @15psi. I have a business that I run and have only used this model because it’s the one I learned on and I’m superstitious so I keep using it. Also it’s 40% the cost of equal ALL AMERICAN. so stop crying you want million dollar features then cough up the $800 price tag for AA Model. ITS UNDER 200 bucks STOP CRYING.

I bought this in the summer of 2021. It has worked great for canning green beans from my garden. I didn't want to spend a ton of money, but wanted something that was easy to use, safe and accurate. This canner meets all the criteria. I'm buying another one for my daughter for Christmas.
I bought this to start canning after I purchased a boxed of #2 bruised apples. I made several half-pints of applesauce and apple butter and wanted to do my first canning project. This pressure cooker is sturdy though very easy to handle. The gauges and knobs are easy to read and easy to use.. Super easy to clean. Saved lots of time because I didnt have to sterilize my jars before canning. I canned 16 half-pints and 12-4oz jars all together. I accidentally had a double layer of 4oz jars stacked on top of each other and they sealed just fine. The safety features helped me feel very comfortable using it. The instructions were simple and easy to follow. This is easily one of the best purchases Ive made all year!
I was as excited as a child on Christmas morning couldn't wait. Doesn't get up to the pressure needed. I do not have gas stove. All my labor in vane. Sad.The company should definitely do something about it with so many complaints about this product. Mine wasn't cheap
LOVE IT! Works great right out of the box. Simple to use. Idiot proof. Great instructions. Way better than the antiquated styles. (What century is this now?) If worried about the accuracy of the gauges just be careful with the lid and buy a new one every few years. It's priced less than the competition so it pays for itself in a couple of uses. Are the nay sayers the ones hoarding all the wide mouth lids this year? lol. Happy canning.
I love the pot but apparently I can’t use it. I have a glass top stove. The video for this pressure cooker shows the pot on a glass top stove. I finally splurged and bought it. I was looking forward to using it. So Disappointing.
I failed to check the stoves that would work with this cooker/canner. I have a glass top and have been using the canner many times. The problem is that when I set the valve to 2 which is 10 lbs of pressure, it only comes up to 8.5 on the dial gauge. I don't know whether I am supposed to go by the valve pressure (10 lbs) or by the dial gauge. Because I have been concerned about making sure I bring it up to the proper pressure, I set the valve to 3 and watch the pressure then go from 8.5 on 2 to above 11. I have to adjust the dial on the stove so that it does not go too high. I try and keep it from 11-12. I can at the appropriate time and take it off the burner when the time has elapsed and let it cool naturally. I bought this pressure cooker at the end of last year's canning season to use for the first time. Because it won't hold the pressure, all of the chili that I made suffered from siphoning. Made a huge mess inside of the pot... This season, I watched many videos to see what I did wrong... The bottom line is this unit just is garbage! Tried to can many pints of fresh sweet corn this season, and all of the water came out of the jars because I have to keep my gas range on high in order to get it to 10n pounds of pressure.. by the time you're food is halfway through the cycle, the unit runs out of steam. Total waste of money! And the instruction manual was worthless.
