My favourite morning tea has long been Ceylon, but T2 don't do that so I decided to try this Morning Sunshine. It took me a little while to get the hang of it. Firstly, the first infusion should be no more than 1 minute for my taste. It's not a subtle tea. In fact it should be written in all caps - TEA. Then I started using a little less in my infuser - aha, now it's becoming more flavoursome. And then there's the second infusion. I never really did that before with any tea, but I thought I'd give it a try. Two minutes this time, and boy - there it is. A lovely tea that I find myself craving through the day. This little gift cube may very well be responsible for teaching me more about my palate.

It tastes very nice but I'm disappointed on the limited effect it has. For a tea called Morning Sunshine, I was expecting a strong wakeup greeting. Instead I get a partly cloudy morning with the chance of showers. I wish there was a way to gauge the potency of the various black teas available at T@2. I would rate the potency of Morning Sunshine as below average.

I am extremely disappointed with the tin of Morning Sunshine tea recently. It tasted nothing like previous purchases of tea by the same name that I’ve enjoyed for the last couple of years. I was happy to have found a delicious blend but sadly this is t the case with this purchase. I usually had two cups for breakfast but could not enjoy two sips of this tea. The different types of tea leaves must have been altered to to have such a changed flavour and aroma. My days of enjoying a cup of T2 Morning Sunshine tea are unfortunately over.

I decided to try this tea after another reviewer posted. I was desperate for Blue Mountain tea, but it was out of stock (for what felt like 7 years, give or take). The other reviewer said they purchased this tea by mistake (similar labels), and they really liked it. However I find it a little lack luster. I find it’s a simple black tea but lighter in flavour then Sydney Breakfast.
We love this tea so much that we ended up, next purchase, buying a tin of it. It has a subtle deliciousness. It starts off simple and mellow. But the sips somehow get better and better, until surprisingly my cup has emptied. A must have in our cupboard. Sunshine indeed.
I love this tea. My daughter bought it for me as part of a set with a lovely mug and when it was gone I ordered some myself. No really strong individual flavours so still a great tea to have with breakfast (or anytime really) but a robust and refreshing tea thats at another level.
For a T2 English Breakfast avid tea drinker, the Morning Sunshine tea is delightful and a lovely surprise. I can't get enough of it !! English Breakfast has now taken a rest at our house. I have bought the largest T2 tin and extra large bags of the loose leaf Morning Sunshine tea. It's divine and so smooth. Love it!! Thanks T2
I will still be actively experiencing other black teas however I have to admit that I enjoy the flavour of this black tea. One of the determining factors for me if I will be a 'fan' of a black tea is how it pairs with coconut milk, almond milk or coconut + almond milk (CocoQuench). It's so soothing to my being to have a nice cup of this black tea with a little milk. Sometimes I'll have it straight with a slice of lemon.I rated the packaging average as I always purchase the small box as a refill so I'm not really fussed on the packaging - it's always discarded as I refill my larger T2 tin.
The tea that never fails to cheer me up. It’s strong and slightly malty but never gives you that overbrewed bitterness you get from some teas when you brew for a few minutes. I can’t actually do without it and am sooooo sad T2 are closing in the UK
Really nice strong flavourful breakfast tea. It has a gorgeous colour when adding milk. One complaint is that it seems very high in caffeine so it can make me feel a little weird, but that's just me. Also, I feel like it's weirdly 'grainy' next to other breakfast teas, the last bit of the tea is always weirdly 'dusty', but that's fine also.
