I usually buy Puerh from Yunnan China every couple of years. Because of the pandemic breakouts, there's no supply from them; so I ordered one small pack from T2 and can I just say this is AMAZING. Puerh is a very complex tea, unlike other green tea or white tea or even black tea, you can only tell its quality when you brewed it. The high standard Puerh after you brewed it should present a colour of ruby. And this one proves it.The price is also fair and reasonable. It could cost me ten times if I bought it in China.Definitely will come back and buy more.

Pu-erh is not for everyone - it is very dark and earthy, since it is a fermented tea. But I like this one and am glad for T2 since my other source for pu-erh has closed.

Was a bit worried about the taste after reading the reviews. I can see how some people think it taste/smells 'fishy', but I really like it! It's rich and smooth, definitely an unique taste.

Good quality pu-erh tea, which is hard to find. My favourite substitute to coffee, best way to start the day. Note that pu-erh is not for everyone as it has a very strong earthy flavour.
Fermented Black TeaIn terms of liking and disliking this tea, if you like fermented black teas this is a reasonable everyday product. Yes you can get "vintage" Liu Anh from specialty stores etc but the T2 product is consistent and has little variationin terms of flavour which can occur. If you like Oolong and want a variation give it a try.It is also great to make Kombucha out of.
This is my second box of Puerh tea, my first box lasted absolutely ages! I've had this tea in Chinese restaurants and this one tastes so good. I always drink it after a big meal. I imagine the taste isn't for everyone as its very earthy but would definitely recommend!
The flavour is more sour and lacks a real earthy taste, which is more typical for a raw pu'erh. If it was meant to be a raw pu'erh, listing it as such would be better. But if this is meant to be a cooked pu'erh, then it's either undercooked or the quality isn't very good.
Went to a T2 Workshop a few years ago now and learnt about this Tea along with many others :) Great Traditional Tea when you know and understand how to brew this Tea. It's Ancient for a reason. Love it! For those complaining about the taste, simply mix it with one of T2's many tisane's to your taste liking and Voila! :) Problem solved :D
Pu-erh is an interesting tea that would not be for everyone, but for those who prefer a robust tea with a unique flavour it is worth trying. It has a somewhat 'earthy' taste and would be difficult to compare to other teas I have tried (which are many). I'm glad I've tried it and will enjoy this tea as an occasional one.
The word that pops up upon the first sipping of this tea is 'earthy'. Next it reminds me of chinese banquet as this is the type of tea commonly served at Chinese restaurants.
