Insurrection II Pure is a great fragrance for men. Though not really a Creed Aventus clone, as is commonly claimed, it is clearly inspired by Aventus. Insurrection has the same fragrance notes as Aventus, namely: spicy/woody birch, musky/earthy patchouli, smoke, royal pineapple, vanilla, bergamot citrus, etc. So, the notes are the same but the tune is somewhat different. Aventus opens with a blast of rich, lush royal pineapple accented with vanilla and bergamot, then at the dry down the pineapple slowly fades and birch, patchouli and smoke take over. Its signature note is the royal pineapple, and it's a truly wonderful fragrance. Its signature note is the spicy/woody birch and it's also a wonderful fragrance. Both Aventus and Insurrection II Pure have excellent projection and both are long lasting, though Aventus because it's somewhat more concentrated does last moderately longer than Insurrection II Pure. Now, one thing to note is that because Aventus is largely made with natural ingredients with only a very few synthetics, its fragrance profile tends to vary somewhat from batch to batch. For instance, in some batches the royal pineapple is considerably less pronounced and the smoke note predominates. Insurrection II Pure, on the other hand, because it's largely made with synthetics with only a very few natural ingredients, has the same fragrance profile from batch to batch. So, with Insurrection II Pure you get the same fragrance profile from bottle to bottle. Personally, I (slightly) prefer Aventus, but it costs about $75 per ounce, whereas Insurrection II Pure only costs about $7 per ounce (!). So, with that kind of price difference I only use Aventus for special occasions, and Insurrection II Pure is my daily go to fragrance. As for packaging, Insurrection is beautifully packaged and comes in a very attractive, expensive looking bottle. Aventus' packaging and bottle are also nice, but not as nice or expensive looking as Insurrection's. In closing, let me say I highly recommend Insurrection II Pure -- you won't be disappointed. Indicating that the products are 2 Years and 8 Months old at the time of purchase. This product was compared against a 120ml4.1oz After Shave from the newer Blockbuster set EdT, Aftershave, Aftershave Balm, Body Shampoo, Deoderant Stick purchased from a reputable bricks and mortar perfume shop 012017. The Date Code on this 120ml is A86 which indicates 082016. There is no difference in colour, smell or lasting. Its the same product. If the Blockbuster set is genuine, then so is this product from Perfumes of London at a very reasonable price 20.97.Note The old Blockbuster set included soap on a rope was being significantly reduced, approx 13 off, at a well known UKwide high street pharmacy chain. It would make perfect sense that older stock is simply reduced in price. There are plenty of reviews and opinions on what people think it smells like, so I wont add mine. This product does smell different on different people. Its advisable to sample a fragrance before purchasing, and to also leave the fragrance to develop throughout the day, as the initial smell can be quite different to what remains after even 30 minutes.Compared to the Eau de Toilette, the After Shave is softer in scent and doesnt last as long. However the Aftershave is meant to be used after shaving, on skin made more sensitive. The ingredients list is the same as EdT except missing in the After Shave is Benzyl Salicylate, Farnesol, Benzyl Alcohol and AlphaIsomethyl Ionone.

Azzaro Wanted is a very contemporary fragrance. In fact, it smells very similar to Invictus by Paco Rabanne, with a little more citrus. If youre not a fan of Invictus, no worries it does not have the synthetic blast that Invictus does. Between this one and Invictus, I highly recommend Azzaro Wanted. Though, for those who are looking for a unique scent, this one is not unique again, it smells like Invictus with a kick of citrus. Its a pretty sweet scent, with a woody base. This would definitely be a good fragrance for the Spring and Summer. Though, because of the sweetness, it might not work in really high summer heat. Probably would not work as well in the winter not strong or sharp enough to cut through bitter cold. This one would work really well for high school and ... MoreAzzaro Wanted is a very contemporary fragrance. I first got DIors Eau Savage aftershave and I fell in love with it. I dont normally like lemon scents but this takes my breath away. This would be up there to another citrus exception of mine Malles Bigarde Concentree. In fact the smell similar. Convinced, I bought Diors Eau Savage EDParfum thinking it would be a stronger potent of the an EDT. But I was disappointed that its not even similar. What I hate abt it is the powdery dry down. Upon spraying it was tolerable. The vibe was sexy yet opulent. But the instant sophistication gives way to this sweet velvety scent that overpowers any undertones. Applied a bit more then you might be accused of giving someone a headache churned from eating too much sugar after giving one to yourself. Rose, anise, orange and all this with a fruity undertone of ripe peaches a rich and satisfying opening reminiscent of visits to an oldfashioned ptisserie. The fruitiness continues into the drydown, with imoressions of prunes and ginger mingling with a pleasant floral sidekick mainly irisbased. A rather nice scent so far, which loses in richbess and originality in the base, where On my skin it mainly emanates generic expressions of vanilla and white musk a finale that is a tad disappointing after such a good start. As far as the performance goes, I get strong sillage, good projection and seven hours of longevity. Good, in other words. It is richer than many other scents and ignoring the end phase lacks any major thinness, wateriness or superficiality. 35
