I bought a heap of these hard shell Tactix box variants to get my stuff organised, BIG MISTAKE! The way these are designed, unless every internal compartment is exactly in place to the millimeter, the lid will either not close, or break.

Great design and well built, however the sticker they put in the middle does leave adhesive residue thats hard to remove, tried tea tree oil and it made it worse, then tried WD40 soaking for 10 minutes which did the trick!

You can take out some of the storage boxes to fit larger items like tools and the remaining boxes will stay put when the lid is closed. But given it has a brief case style handle you would expect it to stand upright. It does if there is nothing in it. But anything heavy-ish will cause it to topple over. The feet on the side opposite the handle are not evenly spaced under the centre of gravity, making it unstable. Also the lid catches are sometimes fiddly to close.
