The Tama MS205BK is like no other mic stand. Sturdy, doesn't sag under the weight of any microphone I have used on it, and looks the part. This stand is made for gigging. I passed up several other reputable brands to wait for stocks of this stand to become available again. Worth the wait...

Really stable and easily adjustable.
Good quality, easy to use.
Heavy duty, holds mic in place.
Picked this after using cheap mic stands for years. My drummer always swore by Tama quality. Difference is huge. Beautifully made and finished. Slightly heavier but won't fall over if it gets bumped and won't break the first time somebody steps on it.
This mic stand is very solidly built and heavy enough to be very stable on stage. It is a lot to pay for a stand, but the quality is worth it.
Has longer feet and more weight for stability than the cheaper stands I've tried.
They were great stands years ago, and even better now!!!
