To put it quite easily, the Hotshot from Tamiya is a classic fun car that only requires moderate building skill level. It is a pleasure to drive and a whole lot of memories to behold! A+++

I will always continue to use Wonderland as my supplier of choice. Excellent communication and customer service, you can be online but it feels like you are in the shop. Packages are well wrapped, if you are like me, this is important, I need the model box as pristine as when it came out of the factory. Tamiya re-releases are fab – just wish Kyosho would re-release the Optima and I could really relive my youth.

This is a legenday kit that Tamiya decided to re-release so it could be enjoyed by future generations. It was a sentimental nostalgic buy for me.

I used to race in competitions when I was 11-15 with an 1985 model. I’m now 44 and had so much fun building the 2007model can’t wait to take this out with the kids
Tamiya rereleased the 1985 Hotshot, it was their first 4x4 buggy. The rereleased version has been upgraded using modern drive shafts & the chassis now has a hatch to access electronics. Really all you need to buy is a Hotshot Ball Bearing set, before building the buggy.
I had a Tamiya hotshot, one of my favorite vintage cars. The car would run great, even with a high power motor and battery. The car has some good upgrades you can find online, I would recommend getting some different tires if you want to drive on-road... All in all, I would highly recommend this over Tamiyas others. Great fun. Great buy!
lets me relive me childhood! Certainly not the best car on the market, or the most durable, but there is something about Tamiya rc cars that keep you interested.
