There are two competing first-rate 1/48 models of this variant of the FW 190 - Tamiya and Eduard. If you want to spend the least amount of time assembling the kit the Tamiya item is the better choice. Although the detail is less comprehensive than the Eduard kit (the Tamiya kit includes no complete engine compartment or gun bays) it is adequate for most modelers, especially those with less experience. A good selection of decals is included. I like this model so much that I own four of them.

The Tamiya 61095 Focke -Wulf FW190 A-8 /R2 Aircraft Model Kit is a very nice detailed kit of a Focke Wulf FW 190 in 1/48th scale. It has four very nice colour schemes to choose from and one version with an armour plated glass cockpit canopy. I am really looking forward to building it and putting it alongside my other Tamiya models.
Not the most challenging but probably the best fit. I have built several of these. The Tamiya is dependable and always yields a great model. Worth the money
