My go to tampons, great absorbency never had a leak with these, last a few hours before they need changing. They don't irritate my skin either and have no perfume or chemical scent to them which I love. The packaging is nice though that doesn't really matter. They aren't bulky and fit snug with no issues. Not too expensive and a lot more compact to hide in your handbag. When in the packaging it's only about 2 inches long so easy to slip up your sleeve if you need to nip to the toilet at work and don't want to carry your bag with you. The string is a good length too it won't get lost easily or be hanging out too much either. Overall great product.

My favourite thing about are how small and compact they are. They are discreetly designed so they can easily be disguised in the handbag. They are super absorbent and feel comfortable whilst wearing them. The plastic applicator is smooth and easy to insert compared to some of the transitional cardboard ones. The only disadvantage I have found with the compak range is sometimes the applicator can be faulty. When you pull the applicator until it clicks, sometimes when you push to insert it, it can slip and push nothing, resulting in you having to pull, click and repeat the process again. Otherwise, these are great, high-absorbing tampons and I highly recommend them.

I am appalled that these are still being stocked, let alone made. They are so damaging to the environment. Having written to the Environment Minister about this in the past and had absolutely no response, perhaps retailers might take a stand? Some women might find them marginally more comfortable but are the same women happy when they wash up on beaches, etc! Wise up, fellow women! The last straw is finding it difficult to purchase the cardboard-applicator type any longer. On holiday last year when I unexpectedly ran out, I couldnt find anything other than these awful plastic-applicator tampons. They should either be banned or heavily taxed.

The applicator is useless. Bought a box and had to bin at least 5 of them because the applicator didn’t work. Bought another box and the first tampon I used done the same. Makes going out a very anxious experience because you’re constantly worrying if the tampons you have are actually going to work or not. It’s hard enough being a female without having to waste money on tampons that don’t work and having to worry about not being protected if the tampons you have fail.
I have always used tampons, most often I choose the ones with an applicator because I believe that they are more hygienic and more comfortable to put on. And it just so happens that Tampax dominates among tampons with applicators on the English market, and they work great. By the time.Recently I couldn't find my favorite tampax compac product (the ones with yellow applicators), they were only pearl. More expensive than the standard, well I took it.From the beginning, their use was difficult, the applicator inconvenient, the tampon often lands in the wrong place. And finally, it is more difficult to pull it out, it actually hurts. Wearing it was ok, I didn't notice the difference here.Restore previous versions! I love these. Every since I’ve started using tampons I’ve always used tampax Pearl, either the standard or compak. I must admit, I was sceptical towards the compak ones due to their size, but they’re so much comfier, in my experience they can easily give you a good 8 hours of no leakage- you can’t really ask for more! I think as far as tampons go, they’re super comfy and last ages. The applicators are nice too, pull out and click in place and it’s ready to go. The compak ones are nice as they’re small too, so they’re easy to pop in a pocket or hide in a bag for discretion. They’re so little no one would notice! I won’t use any other brand- I’ve travelled to another supermarket just to get my tampax Pearl before!
I got these because basic Tampax were (yet again) not available, which is really disappointing. Also, Ocado often only have basic Tampax in one size (super), what about all the others sizes? Pearl Compak have always been dreadful - the tampon itself is too small so doesn't last as long, is prone to leaking (why design a tampon in the shape of a fold out travel map?) and so uncomfortable that you keep thinking you need to change when you don't. The unnecessary plastic applicator is not only bad for the planet but can also give you a nasty nip, sometimes fails to launch entirely and is too short so you also get to experience all the downsides of a non applicator product which is just grim. Please just stock basic Tampax in every size.
I normally use non-applicator tampons, having been put off in the past by unpleasant cardboard applicators, but I must admit to being impressed by these silky ones, which were gentle to use and made insertion really easy and comfortable. My only concern was that the plastic applicator might add to the landfill and be less biodegradable than its cardboard cousins.I did think the instructions were woefully inadequate, being just a simple diagram and one word. For anyone not used to applicator tampons (me!), it was easy to assume that you should pull the applicator and not push - doh! I did get the hang of it though.I used this product through the heaviest part of my period and was impressed that there was no leakage and the tampons were really comfortable to wear. They really did contour themselves to my body shape which I've never seen before and that would certainly have helped them not leak. On one occasion, however, the tampon had changed shape so much that it had unwrapped itself from its central string and was almost in two halves. This was at the heaviest part of my period, and it only happened once.In terms of being discreet, I thought the packaging was cheerful and fun, but wouldn't really fool anyone, as the shape is fairly distinctive. As to them being ultra-quiet when being unwrapped in a communal toilet, I found them just as noisy as any other sanitary product...In conclusion - a good applicator tampon, better than the cardboard ones - comfortable to wear, a dream to insert and very reliable.
These are literally the only tampons I ever buy and use. The applicator is compact which means they take up less space and it’s very smooth making it super easy to insert. They’re far better than the cardboard applicators (which I find very difficult and awkward to use). The pull and click mechanism is very clever and easy. I’ll never use another brand of Tampon again. Hands down these are the best on the market.
I've been using these for a while now and I've never had any issues with them at all! The applicator has always worked for me really easily, they go in smoothly and comfortably, they expand sideways so there's no leaks and they don't get uncomfortable to wear over several hours, and they have good absorption. I also like that they're teensy, because they're easier to fit inside a jeans pocket etc. Other people have had issues with the applicator not working, but I've just never had this happen to me (and I don't think I've developed any special tricks or anything - like, I barely think about it when I'm inserting them, it hasn't been my experience that I need to get it just right or be particularly dexterous or anything like that). I also know some people wish the applicator weren't plastic, and I agree plastic waste is an issue, but so far I haven't been able to find a cardboard applicator that goes in comfortably and inserts reliably every time (and also contains a tampon that expands the right way etc). Genuinely more power to you if you've found a cardboard one that works for you, but I just haven't, and I think there's other ways I can reduce my plastic use without making my periods (which are already pretty miserable and painful!) that much more difficult every month. Overall I really recommend these!
