I'm a "girly-girl" and I don't tend to like the taste, or mouthfeel of a great deal of popular liquors, so finding out that this is MUCH smoother than most, was a treat! There is a "morning adult beverage" other than bloody Mary's or mimosas for brunches, and thats the infamous, "Reymus Fizz, or Gin Fizz. If you haven't tried it, you're missing out if you like more of a "milkshake look" taste to your brunch booze.. This brand is superior, you can taste it in how smoothly almost undetectable it can be on your pallet, mixed into your brunch fizez.Next time you host a brunch for your ladies, look up the simple recipe for a Reymus/Gin Fizz and delight your guests!

Tanqueray London Dry Gin is one of my favorite gins of all time. It had a wonderful flavor that is top of the line. It is super delicious with tonic and a wedge of lime. I especially like it in the summer but itâs great year round. When Iâm looking for something bright and refreshing that tantalizes the tastebuds I reach for the gin in the emerald green bottle. A perfect drink for any occasion! A true classic.
Classic, floral and delicious! I have tried many a gin in my day and no matter what, [brand:tanqueray] is by my favorite. Itâs so classic and holds up well to a good shaking (or âbruisingâ as one server called it). To me, itâs perfectly floral. To be fair, I loooove a really floral gin. This isnât up there with high flavor content like Esme, which makes it a good choice for basically anyone who enjoys gin. I personally recommend this for a good, classic martini (shaken OR stirred). A few of my favorites are classic with blue cheese olives or a âhot ânâ dirtyâ with some Tabasco in the bottom of the glass. Have fun (responsibly of course)
Hi All, FYI, I tried all the USA domestic 0.0 Ginâs on the market, and found them to be lacking as a decent alternative zero alcohol Gin. At that point, I figured if f Tanqueray could not do it right, who could? Although shipping from the UK to USA is a bit pricey, I think itâs worth it. Keep in mind, the Tanqueray 0.0 is not a perfect replacement for taste, and as expected, drank alone it is a bit, well, lacking for a better word, but when mixed with a good tonic and lime, this gin makes me grin! Because I can no longer drink the real deal, to date, in my opinion, this is the best alternative.
This is my go-to gin.Great in a gin&tonic. I do not use lime so I can taste the gin.Being in Florida, I use the Publix supermarket tonic water. This is the best I have tried.Try Tanqueray in a Bloody Mary instead of vodka - it is called a Red Snapper cocktail. You will never go back to vodka.Enjoy!
About a year ago I met a gin and tonic aficionado. This guy was soooo sure of himself. ONLY drank Tanqueray gin and a certain brand of tonic water AND when one added fresh lime juice, one absolutely was FORBIDDEN to drop the slice of lime into the drink because âit makes the G and T bitter.â And Tanqueray is the only gin I now use. LOVE the tasteâŚand NO slices of lime ever bounce around with ice cubes in MY glass!!
Many people have suggested that, as someone who is just beginning to experiment with gin, I might prefer Beefeater to Tanqueray. I started with tanq and loved it in a gin and tonic; for me, 3 oz of gin, 4 oz of tonic, and lemon juice worked well. Tanq and bitter lemon can also be used alone for a simple, fast drink. I recently purchased a bottle of Beefeater, but I think Tanqueray is significantly superior. I needed at least 50% more tonic with Beefeater, but I still preferred the Tanq G&T because of the greater juniper flavor. While I don't consume any spirits neat, Tanq, in drinks where gin is the star, comes out on top.
This gin has a better flavor than my previous favorite, Bombay. It tastes excellent when sipped. I wouldn't mix it with any other substances. For the ideal martini, keep it in the freezer with olives in vermouth. For a superb Gibson, add some vermouth and cocktail onions.
