This is an OG tequila from the same distillery making Ocho and El Tesoro (Fabrica La Alteña). It’s about the best additive free tequila you can buy at the price point using traditional methods. Sip it, shoot it, mix it.

Not very good at all. This tequila was recommended as a very good tequila that was not expensive, had family over, this was the second tequila we tried that evening, about six of us and not one of us founded it enjoyable. Not very good at all.

Show me a better non-additive reposado for $37. As mentioned before, my go to is Fortaleza. With that said, if you love non-addictive tequilas, check out this brand. Off to grab the blanco 110, blanco and anjeo. Salud!

I bought this on a recommendation and it’s really good. This bottle will be a gift to a tequila lover.
I now understand why Tapatio Blanco is considered and recommended as the best blanco tequila by the NYTimes Wirecutter - so smooth, just for sipping, or with some ice and the smallest amount of lime.
Consistent, best tequila for the price. Easy sipping and mixing. I have spent a lot more for some that aren't as good. My every day tequila.
Great tequila, especially for the price. Cracked pepper, baked agave, notes of citrus in the background.
This tequila taste like tequila should taste, to me , flavors like citrusy and pepper but vegetal like cooked agave and mineral taste . Real tequila from people who knows how to make good , classic tequila
Tapatio 110 tequila has a nice peppery flavor and the 110 proof alcohol is surprisingly mellow. However, the flavor is not quite as good as either El Luchador 110 or Dulce Vida 100 tequilas. I keep a bottle of 100 proof or higher tequila in my freezer to make "Tequila-tinis" when I don't want the flavor of either gin (94.7 proof Beefeaters or Tanqueray) or vodka (any 100 proof brand). Still, I would definitely buy Tapatio 110 again.
Possibly the best tequila I've had in the $30-$40 range. Kinda tastes like half-way inbetween Don Julio blanco and Clase Azul plata. Smooth, peppery, kinda sweet, very clean. I still think Fortaleza Blanco is overall the best tequila I've ever had, but for a moderately-priced tequila, Tapatio is a great choice.
