Medium honey is great because it has a peach undertone for someone like me that helps me get a more natural look since I have a reddish textured skin. Shape tape is #1 in my book. You hear most about this brand for concealer for a reason, there’s no topping shape tape. I’ve been using it since high school and yall that’s a long time. I don’t even find myself needing to set this concealer absolutely at all, that’s how WELL it actually works. I can cry , I can sweat I can even SWIM and you will not see one crease under my eyes. I will continue buying this and always compare concealers to this holy grail product, most of them do not measure up. The matte version of this concealer is a nice creamy-liquid formula that is quite hydrating when it first meets the skin, however once blended out and dried it showcases it's mattifying effects. The regular (matte) version of shape tape is truly a MATTE concealer and is perfect for oily, acne-prone skin. When I really need something to stay put on my face, this is truly my go-to most reached for all around concealer. The shade rage is stunning (I own it in 3 shades) and no matter how pale or tan my skin is throughout the yearly changes I always can find my exact match. This is also a truly high coverage concealer, this covers any redness or dark spots flawlessly. I absolutely love this stuff and will continue to re-buy. The Bad: I tend to not use this in my under eye area unless I really need the intense pigment payoff from this because it's quite mattifying which can accentuate any kind of fine lines or wrinkles. The Ugly/Honest: The price of this has been continuously rising and it was already a pricey product. I run through this in the summer time and it comes with a hefty price. The applicator is super large for a concealer which makes it hard to control the amount of product used in one area and is overall unnecessarily large. I wish this concealer was more under-eye friendly, considering that's where most people use concealer on.

Obviously this concealer has been raved about for a long time and is considered the GOAT of concealers. I just turned 40 so I do have some fine lines around my eyes, especially when I smile. I also have dark circles and very fair skin. The shade match is amazing as I am very neutral and need a real kind of beige shade with no yellow or pink undertone. The consistency is perfect and did not fall into my creases. The pink undertone is very necessary for me because I have dark circles and a small dark blue vein around one of my eyes. I have had this since I was very young and my skin is very transparent in color around my eyes. I was shocked at how well it covered my imperfections without looking like I actually had makeup on. I also did not even have add a pink base concealer with it. I frequently have problems with concealing this blue vein with other expensive brands and believe me, you name it, I've tried it. With the correct shade and undertone of pink, I was able to mask the dark circle and vein flawlessly with minimal primer. I do always use an eye cream though. I use the IT cosmetics concealer brush and you have to use very little of this product for it to go a long way. I will definitely be reordering in a larger size now that I figured out my shade. I can use the other sample colors on other areas of my face and blend it in with my concealer without a problem. Now that I have my concealer correct, I will probably be back to correct my foundation shade as well.

It's a known irritant whose use in cosmetics is restricted in some countries because of its propensity to cause reactions. If you notice any irritation to your skin when trying this concealer, stop!The original Shape Tape also contains hexyl cinnamal, but it's much lower in the ingredients list so it may not be as bothersome for some people. Why on EARTH Tarte would put this in their concealers, let alone ones that are specifically marketed to go around your EYES, I cannot begin to imagine. Creases & Not enough coverage

I don't know how you guys are getting full coverage of dark circles with the creamy concealer formula. I've tried everything - concealer brush and build it up, put a ton on and use a beauty blender, use my fingers, put foundation on before or after and set with powder. It's like no matter how much I put on I can still see my dark circles. I bought this one because I'm over 40 and thought it wouldn't crease in my lines directly below my eyes but oh it does. Again no matter the application - light or heavy, how much powder I use, nothing...it still creases before I even get the rest of my makeup on. Great product, Horrible packaging

This is a frustrating review to write because the actual product itself is fantastic. I was having issues with dry, crepey skin under my eyes and this, and Ilia true skin serum concealer were the only ones that didn't settle into the fine lines. The SUPER irritating part is that the bottle it comes in is horrendous. You literally lose half the product because it gets trapped in the cap and the portion where you screw the cap on so you're constantly having to wipe off excess concealer or it gets everywhere. This is not a makeup product you can just throw in your bag and go. In fact, it is the only makeup product that I can't have in my vanity. It has to sit on top because otherwise it gets all over everything. I went with the travel size of this product - I got the 29N light-medium. I bought it because I already use Tarte luminizers and I love them.Well, I loved this product so much that a week later, I went and bought the full size (I will save the travel size for when I have to do makeup on the go.)I have used practically every concealer known to mankind and this is the only one that really delivers. I have mature skin that is very dry and this product is really creamy and keeps my undereye area hydrated all day long! It spreads beautifully and I mix it with my luminizer to brighten my eye area.So far, I have been very pleased with every Tarte product I have bought and they are the only ones that I buy repeats of because they are staples in my makeup routine!

I love this concelear! I have shade 22n and it matches me almost perfectly. I bought this for the first time when it was 50% off on the shape tape anniversary and I'm so glad I did. I use this as both a foundation and a concelear. I'd say it has about medium coverage. It wears very well throughout the day on my combo skin. I have acne scars and this does not emphasize texture at all. I do notice that around particularly dry areas on my nose it can cling to it a little, so this might not be good for those with dry skin. I took off a star because 1) the bottle can get pretty messy on the sides easily and 2) you have to blend it quickly before it dries down because it dries down fast. I use the color 22B to cover under my eyes and I use shade 20B as a spot concealer elsewhere on my face. I use a beauty blender to blend it. Prior to blending I let it sit on my skin for a few minutes so that the product has a chance to warm up. I don't put any other product under my eyes in order to prevent from getting too much product there which can also lend to creasing. I use a setting spray after blending out the concealer. I still do get minimal creasing but it is very minimal and I just take my dry beauty blender and tap the areas where the slight product settling has occurred to remove the product build up.
