Painted a new pine fence with a paint sprayer and very happy with the results. Although this is a paint/primer it will not be sufficient to seal hard wood posts and you should get a can of oil based exterior primer (Zinzer orange can works well) and use the Taubmans as a top coat. Did not prime the pine palings and they came up well with 2 coats. Would use again

Bought this to redo my front door. Very happy with the finished look. Took 2 coats after using 3 coats zinsser 123. Dry time was quick, did a light sand in some spots before doing the next coat and the coverage was spot on. Easy to work with and low ordor which was great.

From someone with over 30years painting experience this product is highly recommended. It is easy to work with and has a perfect consistency. Needs only two Coates as expected. Clean up is a breeze.

I am not very happy with this product. It had an almost jell like consistency and did not flow freely even when slightly thinned. Not a good gloss finish.
I was recommended this paint to paint two new entrance doors.Very disappointed with the quality.Even after close to 2 weeks of drying, it is still very tacky and Taubmans tech support is saying this is normal and it can take anywhere from 7 days to 4 weeks for it to cure and harden. I would never have purchased this if I knew that.It is normal for paint to take a while to fully cure but it's abnormal for it to feel this tacky while curing. Now I'm getting dust and crap sticking to the door ruining the looks and any contact made with the paint is susceptible to peeling as well.
Coverage 1 star.6 coats on white primer and still bleeding through.
We love the exterior finish we just completed. A very high-quality paint will definitely recommend it. Much appreciated to the bunnings staff for assisting.
This is now my preferred exterior paint. I've been painting my house with this product as well as other projects for over a year now. The paint is thinner than some competitors products, but the coverage is comparable, and it loads and unloads well from a brush or roller and tightens while drying to leave a very flat surface. (Obviously, do your prep properly to achieve good results.) I've used it in Canberra summers and winter and had no trouble with it, despite our relative extremes compared with coastal locations. For spraying, minimal thinning with water will do the trick for excellent coverage. Use thin coats and build them, as the thinned product will dry quickly in nice weather.Tip: First coats can be deceiving. A second coat is required to get the best out ... MoreThis is now my preferred exterior paint. I've been painting my house with this product as well as other projects for over a year now. Very disappointed...Extremely Faded & Chalky after just 2 years, not a good look on a brand new home. Wouldn't recommend the Matt finish if you want your paintwork to be good wearing. Rep was also no help, blaming the environment. Im only mentioning this as i dont think its fair they offer a 25 year warranty & then when your home is only a few years old, they wont do anything about it.
Worst paint I've ever used in my life, like really, total trash. It's extremely runny and won't stick to old painted surfaces or bare wood. Should of stuck to Dulux. Extremely frustrated after buying a 4L can.
