I had contemplated 2 other brands for my Great Grandson when I ran across this grand find. This expresssion system gives preofessional results at an unbelievable price. He is 9 so I chose the 3/4, perfect but wow the dark tones and increased volume is a delight for kids. Gig bag is sturdy and impressive. Stays in tune. It has better sound carry than some others on stage.

A beginner buys a Taylor Baby

I read a lot online about the best guitars for beginners and came across PMT's top ten list. They wrote about the 3/4 Taylor Baby and I was surprised that professional muscians used this size. I had always been concerned about the size of a guitar and my hands.I took the plunge and purchased it. This guitar was on a different level to the ones I had seen before, it has a quality feel. Whilst my fingers hurt from learning the guitar, it is a really comfortable fit for me.

Best travelling guitar ever!!

I wanted a guitar that I cam take with me on the plane (overhead bin) without loosing in sound and quality. This Baby Mahogany went beyond expectations. I love it!! My only problem is now not feeling like bringing it everywhere like I use to with my old travelling cheaper one. I like it too much I want to protect it 😉

Great little guitar!

I love this guitar for song writing as I can easily travel with it to different places and settings. The sound is great for a small guitar, all the others I have tried the sound was weak and kind of shallow. I love the feel of the guitar plays just like a full size just smaller.

Had other parlour guitars but

Had other parlour guitars but always thought they didn't sound to good but I like the look and quality of the Taylor. So easy to play and the built-in tuner and electrics magic. Trouble is the grandson has taken a fancy to it and he's only just started playing so I might not have it for to long. Overall love it.

It's a good guitar for a small size of instrument

I got acoustic electric baby Taylor. Even though the size is small, it has a very good sound acoustic guitar. . Perfect for beginners and travel. I use it for practice a lot since it is so light compared to little martin. Right out of the box, I tuned it a little bit, and It stayed in tune. I just replaced the strings with nanoweb elixir extra light because I have small fingers, I think the sound changes a little bit - in my opinion it sounds better. When I connected to the amplifier, wow, the sounds is even better.... The electric tuner is great. I have a little martin LX1E, I think this baby Taylor mahagony sounds a bit better than my little martin.

Just What I was Looking For

I first ordered the Martin Mini. I was very disappointed with the HPL (high pressure laminate) as it had a very plastic feel. Musician's Friend switched it for the Baby Taylor without hassle. I will thrilled with the Baby Taylor. None of that HPL that Martin is using but actual quality wooden parts. For a bit of extra style I replaced the plastic pin with Taylor wooden abalone pins and added a Taylor pick guard. It now looks very high end! Sound is Great and it is very sturdy! Gig bag is a plus, though I also ordered a hard case for travel! I think you will be happy with this guitar! It was just what I was looking for!

Little Body - Big Sound

It's 3/4 scale, but not so small that it's uncomfortable whatsoever. I'm a pretty stocky guy at 6ft 230 lbs, and I actually bought this for myself; not only for travel, but for gigs as well. It has a tighter, more focused sound that complements a full acoustic, and it's quality is top notch.

Love it! Super Fun to Play

I love this thing. It is so easy to play on the couch or bed. Sound is perfect for those settings. I want to try the metal round strings from kala but they are not sold here. The included nylon strings sound fine, a different feel especially when sliding, but they are stay in tune which is great. First one arrived broken, Sam Ash took care of it quickly and very professionally. Second one is perfect and look forward to buying more stuff from Sam Ash in the future
