Purchased the TM SIM2 Max 5-Hybrid to improve consistency over my 5-Iron. I currently use a 7-wood in place of a 4-Iron which is much more consistent than my 5-Iron. As a result, I switched out my 5-Iron for the new TM SIM2 Max 5-Hybrid and have not been disappointed. I have found it super forgiving and much more consistent. Handicap: 14.PS. To whoever is thinking about buying this, I would have to say go for it. I personally purchased the 2 rescue configuration with the stock tensei shaft. Mind you I'm not the best golfer out there, but I was surprised with the forgiveness of this club. I've watched all the famous youtubers say that this is club is for the low handicappers out there, but I beg to differ. This club was mainly used off the tee and I was getting about 240-260. Very pleased with the product's performance however the biggest issue with this club is the build quality. I've had mine for a bout two months and played maybe 10 rounds, I noticed that right away the paint of the face was chipping and the bottom of the club is super scratched up. I've had previous hybrids from tm before and I have to say quality wise it's lacking, the sim hybrid I had last year looks mint and the face has barely any noticeable scratches. I probably used that upwards to 40 rounds. Anyways that aside great products. Tools not Jewels right?

Demo/Used showed very LITTLE wear. It almost looked new. Minor scuff but definitely does NOT impact performance especially for non scratch golfer's like myself lol. Saved a good bit of money that I can budget into more lessons.I needed something to get me to the green (2nd shot) on the longer par 5s, more consistency on par 4s (Tee shot & Just needed to be within 145 yrds of the green for my 2nd shot), and hitting the green on the long par 3s (Tee shot). This club fits that perfectly. So I've played this club over 22 rounds and in 5 different states so far from Bethpage Black to Torrey Pines. It is filled the void in my game (there are still many lol). I even started using it for shorter par 5s now since I hit more fairways with it than my driver (still working ... MoreDemo/Used showed very LITTLE wear. It almost looked new. Minimalistic sleek black design helps me focus on the ball at address. The sound is soft as well so if you like that, it's very pleasing. Please test it out first because at the end of the day, the feel and sound at impact will make a difference. I thought I would need a 3 hybrid but the 4 hybrid is perfect. Rogue hybrid was a close second.I'm inconsistent with my long irons so replacing my 3 and 4 iron with this hybrid was a great choice. I'm actually going to get a 5 hybrid next to replace my 5 iron. Short irons are fine.

I have been a Taylormade girl for a lot of years. I have strayed but I've always come back. The Taylormade SIM line was a huge step up. Then the SIM2 line came out, What a difference. The face is so hot the ball shoots off it like a rocket. I had been looking for the 7H everywhere in the SIM2 and luckily the PGA Superstore had one. This is my go to club for 100 yards. Gets the ball up quickly. Now if Taylormade would make a full line of these hybrids down to the pitching wedge, I'd be thrilled! I'm not an iron lover! I invested in 5 woods and 3 hybrids in the SIM2 and I'm playing the best golf I've played in years.
Great price, great club. The max 2 hybrids have to be the best, most forgiving clubs off the fairway I have ever used. I have purchased the 5,4 and 3 . With the 5 and 4 I'm able to get the ball in the air, straight and on target from any lie, hard pack, deep wet grass, low cut fairways, I even use them to drive off the deck. The reason for not giving them 5 stars is that the 3 hybrid I find to be very whippy . The shafts are a nice graphite that allows for a good club head speed. Thinking that the shaft on the 3 is a little too long and the head a little heavier ,giving that driver like feel which does not work well off the fairway. I have just been using it off the tee for long par 3s ,and works well for those situations. All in all, a great club, well worth the ... MoreGreat price, great club. This is the first hybrid club I have hit or owned. I purchased to replace a trusty old 5 Wood that I left on the course. (No one turns in clubs since COVID)After a couple of practice range sessions I was able to get comfortable with the club. Now, I look for excuses to play this club during my rounds!Consistent, great distance, tremendous feel. The ONLY reason not 5 star is I wish it had come with a club head cover.
As most amateurs, I was having difficulty hitting my long irons consistently. Last summer, I purchased a complete set of the Sim2 OS clubs. My 3 & 4 hybrids in those were instantly really helpful! My handicap went from a 14 to an 11 in this past year.(Worked a lot the short game, as well). I still had the stock 5 iron but only hit it flush about half the time. I was hesitant to try the 5 hybrid because didn’t want to be one of “older” golfers hitting hybrids all down the set, ha!!So glad that I made the move! The 5 hybrid/rescue really IS easy to hit, and straight. I hit it 170/175 yds. and it’s now my favorite club. Contact is crisp off the face and gives me more scoring opportunities. A very wise purchase in my opinion and score card.
Acquired the SIM Max #7 Rescue club about six months ago to replace my (Callaway Strata Ultimate 7 iron with a 34degree loft), which has proven very difficult for me to hit, as a beginner, of two years. The SIM Max Rescue club allows me to hit 130 yards, or so, with way more ease and accuracy than the evil 7 iron.Yesterday, the recently ordered SIM 2 Max #3 hybrid arrived. Tomorrow, a regulation 18-hole course with this new club is highly anticipated. The Callaway Strata Plus #3 fairway wood that I've been using has worked well for me. However, due to the good success with the #7 SIM Max Rescue club, it will be nice to see how well the #3 works for me. After only 2 rounds of golf, I already have a mark on the white part of the crown. That wasn't the only problem as the face also started to get markings. I used this club a lot on the course and knew that having wear was innevitable but i was disappointed to see that there was already a mark on the crown. I know this may be petty but having a mark on the white crown makes my expensive club not look as nice and experiencing this after 2 rounds is disappointing. Taylormade should really make a club that is able to be beat up and withstand hits. Overall the club performs nicely and is one of my favorites this is the best performing club on low strikes.
I am new to golf so I bought a starter set from a friend. I replaced the driver for that set with a Taylor Made Sim Max and I loved it so I decided to add a 4 hybrid to my set and I am so glad I did . This club allows me to recover from a bad tee shot and still have a chance at a good score . I have also used it off the tee on short Par 4 's and best of all this club gives me a great chance to reach the greens in two shots on a couple of Par 5's on the course near my house . I credit this club for my 1st two birdies I have shot in my life . I look to add a TaylorMade 3 wood to my set next . You can really tell the difference in the quality of Taylor Made 4 hybrid and my 5 hybrid from another manufacturer.
